Rated 4 out of 5 by from do yourself a favor and rent it or watch it on will like it!!! They have a name for movies like this now. This is a movie that starts over after an awful string of movies that were poorly written and special effects laden crap. The Batman movies previous to this "reset" were done by people that didn't like or had never read a comic and didn't approach it seriously. And Batman is anything but a childish comic, definitely an adult title especially after Frank Miller put his influence on this title. I was excited to see this movie was being done (the Hulk movie in 2008 was a reset as well because the previous one was so bad) I was almost afraid it would disappoint me. This story always had the potential of being a movie that would cross over to people that don't care for comics or see them as childish. It has compelling characters and a great story line. I feel if they stay true to the comic like they have in this one and in the "Dark Knight" they will be able to make many more (similar to the 007 movie series) in the years to come. This is definitely a must see, so if you have avoided it because you aren't a fan of comics or feel it would be too childish...very wrong, do yourself a favor and rent it or watch it on will like it!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from "Less frou frou makes for a better story" No campy villians! A hundred times better than Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. Christian Bale's and strong supporting cast of veteran actors make for a great movie. There's no silly world doomsday device or evil governments, or gravity defying martial arts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Movie! Would recommend it to anyone! I absolutely loved this movie! I normally don't purchase movies myself but this one is definatly one I will buy. I didn't know the background of Batman so this movie wrapped it up nicely for me. I loved the acting and got attached to the main character, which in my opinion makes a good movie. Definatly a movie I would watch again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will watch it again and again! I loved the dark side of the story and how Bruce Wayne gradually decided to become Batman because of his fear of bats. Christian Bale is by far my favourite actor. He can do anything. And he is an animal advocate too. All the actors have done a good job as Batman but Christian Bale IS Batman forever! The movie makes you believe that he is real, not a comic book hero.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comic Fans Rejoice! As a comic fan, I had serious reservations about this movie. Something about the $130 million spent on it being un-necessary when Sin City (another excellent comic to movie) was made for only $50 million. I was pleasantly surprised. The story, pace and acting were top notch. Kudos to the writer who rewrote Ras al Ghul. Very believeable -- in a comic book sort of way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible No doubt, this is the best Batman's movie. Everything is excellent: the soundtrack, the story, the actors, ... It keeps you breathless for two hours. The views of Gotham City are splendid, better than what you can imagine. For any Batman's fan, Batman Begins isn't only a movie: it's a dream!
