Ingrid Bergman gives a particularly sincere performance as Joan of Arc, the young peasant girl who led the forces of the French Army to conquest. Based on Maxwell Anderson's 1946 play, "Joan of Lorraine." Academy Award Nominations: 7, including Best Actress--Ingrid Bergman.
