Jack, a young peasant, lives in a magic forest populated with friendly and exotic creatures. But the delicate balance between good and evil is upset when the Lord of Darkness seizes a horn from one of the last unicorns, thereby gaining control of the Universe. When Jack's beloved Princess Lili is kidnapped by Darkness, the plucky lad must assemble a motley band of elves and do battle with the forces of evil to set her free.
When a unicorn is captured by the Lord of Darkness, winter threatens to envelop the world forever. The only hope is that a forest prince and a motley band of dwarves, elves and fairies can rescue the unicorn, defeat the agents of Darkness and restore sunshine to the world.
