Vada's only 13-years-old but she's already been through quite a bit: she's practically grown-up without a mother, her best friend suffered a fatal injury and now her father has re-married and started a new family. Synopsis

Description

In this sequel, young Veda travels to her uncle's home in Los Angeles, where she befriends a boy her age and copes with the difficult in-between years, rebelling against her father and learning about herself along the way.
