Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I don't understand the negative reviews This movie has been blasted by the critics. It has almost unanimously been rejected and criticized by everyone of significance in the movie community. Maybe that just shows you the power of the church. The movie features a Oscar winning director, Oscar winning actors and a novel of basis that is loved the world over. I thought the movie was hugely entertaining. Sure maybe they try to hard to explain everything that is going on, but I was on the edge pf my seat till the very end. Tom Hanks plays the main character Robert Langdon, and I feel he was very much wasted here. This is a role that really dosen't require much depth. They could of easily put anyone else in the role and they would do as good of a job as hanks did. That is no slight against Hanks, it just really wasen't a challenging role. Ian McKellan on the other hand I thought was really good. He immersed himself so far into the role that for me at least, he seemed totally a different person. Paul Bettany also gives one of the most chilling performances of all time. He was so creepy that just by the camera being on him gave me the shivers. The movie does take jabs at the church, so I can understand why they would be upset with the movie. They really just need to take a chill pill, the movie is obviously a work of fiction. Overall, an extremely entertaining movie that kept me glued to my seat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Movie Classic Some people may think this against there religion. But the movie has it's own way of telling it's side of the story. This a great movie if people have read the book. The place the settings in the movie are really good it makes it seem more real. The plot and everything that went into this movie is just fantastic. A great movie to watch this movie really does keep you thinking!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from How Stupid!! I felt really embarassed when I watched this movie how pathetic was this. He was so boring Tom Hanks thought he was the GOD in this movie (NOT!). The girl she was so stupid and she wasn't even a blonde!!! I kept saying to myself "Hmm" how uninstersting this movie is. I felt the whole time Tom Hanks was saying "Blah Blah Blah".
