Description

One of the best musicals by the Astaire-Rogers team. Features top tunes by Irving Berlin including "Cheek to Cheek," "Top Hat" and others. Academy Award Nominations: 4, including Best Picture.

Notes

The Turner videocassette is part of the "RKO Collection." The story was loosely based on "The Girl Who Dared (or A Scandal in Budapest)", a 1911 play by Alexander Farag= and Aladar Laszlo; because so little of the original remained in the final script, the playwrights did not receive screen credit. Karl Noti is credited with the original adaptation.
