Tributee: Weezer.
Arranger: Andrew Bissell.
It's become sort of a cottage industry, turning hits from rock bands into soft, muted lullabies full of Mellotrons, vibraphones, chimes, and bells, and never mind the irony when it pops up. This set finds the approach applied to a dozen early Weezer songs like "Undone: The Sweater Song," "Buddy Holly," and "Say It Ain't So," and all of them come out sounding sweet and soothing. No "Hash Pipe," though, which is probably a good thing. ~ Steve Leggett
