Very solid construction affording good protection if Kobo is dropped. The only problem is that the way the Kobo Vox is held in place inside the cover. The light sensor in the top edge of the Kobo bezel (black frame) is covered over by the surrounding material that holds the Kobo in place. This light sensor detects the ambient light in the room to set the display backlight level. If you set the brightness for reading to "Use System Brightness" it will not be able to function properly when the sensor is covered by this style of holder/ cover. This means that the reader will not adjust to different light levels in a room or outdoors. This sensor also controls video brightness in the Gallery app. This being said, if you like to use your own brightness settings (not system), this cover is a good choice.
