Love my kobo mini, so easy to hold and read with one hand, which my dog loves so I keep petting him with the other. Software was easy to use, very easy figure out how to adjust settings, fonts etc. Let a friend give it a try and now she's has one for herself, her mother, her sister picked up one, her best friend got one for her self and her daughter. My question is where is my commission LOL ok a few free books of my choosing will do. :)

This is an amazing and very convenient product because I carry very heavy books that are at least 20 pounds but with my kobo mini, I can put all those books in 134 kg! I strongly recommend this product for anyone who loves to read on the go.

After using a LOT of readers, the Kobo mini is perfect. Adjust the text, great form factor, it's really what I want ereaders to be. I love it. If you're a commuter and love reading, this is the reader for you. Loading books is easy. My whole family reads using a Kobo.

The reader it self wasn't to bad; sometimes it would lag, but their customer service was terrible! When I was charging my Kobo Mini the screen got scrambled. When I spoke to their customer service and sent them a picture of the device, they were able to determine from just looking at the picture that I apparently dropped it and that is why the screen was like that. When I told them that, that was not the case they then told me that it must have been another family member of mine that did it when I was not there. Kobo apparently can read minds and determine sequences of events, and not to mention who you live with just from a single picture. If they can determine how thing work from a single web cam picture without even physically handling the device damn they should expand their market into other areas of repairing things they would become even richer... NOT! Kobo service is terrible; their warranty means nothing because it is never their fault due to faulty devices, but rather always the consumers fault.

I already have one of the first generation Kobos, and this is probably the ONLY device that could replace it. It's small, light, and still features e-ink technology (which I love). There are now more options for re-sizing ePub fonts and zooming in PDF documents. The select and look-up functions are easy to use, and the built-in dictionary is so handy. I also love the wi-fi connection, so I can buy/download new books directly. Finally, while I am not fond of touch technology, the screen is responsive and not frustrating at all. Best thing of all - it works even when I'm wearing gloves! This device is compact and easy to use, even in Canadian winters, and reasonably priced. I'm so happy with this purchase.

I love my new Kobo mini. It is so light and easy to read. I have an iPad and thought that would be fine for reading, but its too bright and too heavy. Its really easy to figure out, too. No regrets buying this.

I hesitated between a Kobo Glo (my 1st choice) and a Kobo mini. The mini being on sale, I opted for this one. I needed an eReader of small format to carry in my pocket. I already own a Kobo 1 (the original non-wifi Kobo) and a Kobo Vox (which I use mainly for magazines and to read my Kindle books). Although it is small, I can reduce the font size to something acceptable to have a nice page to read. It's fast and easy to use. I am very happy with the Kobo family so far.

I received the Kobo Mini Reader for Christmas 2012 and although I love it and the fact that it fits into my purse, I questioned the security of the information on it if it was to be stolen...after speaking to a supposedly knowledgable sales person at a Chapters/ Indigo store and getting nowhere with my question, I called Kobo support. Turns out that they have no security in case of theft as compared to the Mac IPad with an entry code.... If stolen , or in the wrong hands, anyone could use your credit card information to buy and download books at your expense until you would cancel your credit card .... This could prove quite problematic if you were on vacation say,in China or other places.....I was not impressed.....but still love the handiness of the mini...so guard it at all times....

An ereader is a very enticing option for any bibliophile seeking another incentive to read more. Compact, portable, interactive, and practical what’s not to entice. I received my Mini Kobo this Christmas, and while fun and easy to use, it is prone to regular software glitches. Here’s a list of technical problems encountered: screen freezes after startup; while reading, page freezes, page skips backward when moving forward, page skips forward when moving backward, tactile interface is either too sensitive or conversely unresponsive, and on occasion have skipped a chapter forward or backward. Setting aside the technical difficulties, product is thoroughly enjoyable but will return for replacement.

The Kobo mini is great! It is easy to use, makes reading enjoyable, and I can take it anywhere with me. I really like that I can change teh font size to make it easier to read. :)
