    It broke, and is not repairable.
    Purchased in May 2012. In November, the small platform on which the book is placed, split, and the platform is no longer operational. Since purchase was more than 30 days, I can no longer return the product. I believe that a bookstand, should be able to hold books without breaking. Described as a collapsible bookstand. It certainly collapsed, but not in the manner I was expecting. Not a recommended purchase.

    A must have item!
    If you have many hard cover textbooks to read and if you have experienced the difficulty in reading a thick book and making notes of it at the same time, you must buy this product! It makes your studying much easier! Book standings with similar quality and price are sold on other websites, but Indigo's complementary "Free shipping" service is what you shouldn't miss!

    Loved it.
    as an owner of alot of hard cover books, I sometimes find it hard to hold onto, this bookstand is fabulous.. it collapses to near nothing, almost like a cutting board, and it holds onto any book properlly, keeping your hands free.for seeds, or knitting, or anything really.. definitely a great buy.
