It is definitely roomy with nice little side pockets inside for storing the little things you bring on a trip. The material it is made from is a sturdy canvas with heavy twill for handles and there is a shoulder strap included as well. It zips from both ends so you can hide the two zip pulls in a flap at the top centre of the bag. That flap has two snaps to keep it flat. Not the best in security but if you are just looking for a camping bag, then its not so urgent. The one downside I have found using the bag is it isn't water proof or repellent. If it is raining out or if the ground is wet, the bag will get wet and what is inside will get wet too. I like the looks of the bag but going fishing/camping/out education with it means lining the bottom with a large plastic lining in case the ground is wet. That is one area that Red Canoe could improve.
