This does exactly what I was looking for: it covers the ceiling and walls with stars and a moon. The default starting color is green, but the buttons let you (or your child) easily select blue or amber. This toy helps my daughter transition to sleep by providing extra light and something to look at until she falls asleep. Singing star songs together seems to distract her from wanting to read every single book she owns.I have a night light in her room, and the light from this toy is still bright enough to see the stars. Now I have to buy my son one too, because the stick on stars on his ceiling (the ones that are removing the ceiling paint) aren't nearly as impressive.

My Daughter (4 years old) loves to sleep in her Beautiful sky night room. I will suggest all parents to buy this Turtle to make their love ones room very cozy. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!

We purchased this turtle for our daughter when she was 17 months old. It is the greatest thing. There are 3 different colour settings and the shape of the turtle allows for the stars to be cast throught the room. Ceiling and walls included! Our little girl loves her turtle and enjoys it in the evening when the lights are turned out and the turtle stars shine. It stays on for quite a long time, doesn't get hot to the touch so you can put it right in bed with them. The turtle is easily activated so even a child can turn it on. The battery life is great too. I believe in 5 months we have changed the batteries once! I would recommend this as a gift for a new baby or even one that's a little older. Who doesn't like looking at stars in the dark!!

This item was a little pricey, I was a bit disappointed. It was smaller than I thought, and not nearly as exciting. Although it does create a beautiful nite sky, it could be even better if it rotated!! needs a few adjustments.
