I have tried many book lights and so far this is the best. Solid construction (flexible metal neck seems like it is built to last), even lighting with two brightness settings (could use one dimmer setting, IMO), works for paper books and ebook readers (on case or on device directly (rubber padding on clamp). I have used similar clamp lights of lesser construction and poorer lighting. I have tried the lights that clip onto your ear with an earpiece (junk). I have used the light wedges (the plastic that sits over your page or ebook reader screen (these get dirty, offer uneven light with lots of leakage, and require constant readjustment when you flip your page (paper book). If you want a really good light buy this one. Pretty inexpensive and as far as I can see only available at Indigo in Canada.
