From Our Editors

Born in Georgia, Mentu never knew Africa where his Grandmother Twi came from as a slave. Thanks to learning how to play the traditional drums and hearing Grandmother's stories, Mentu learns about his people and his heritage in this adventurous retelling of the legendary Ibo's Landing.
