Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My son's favourite I read this book to my son every evening. It is one of his favourites. He loves the last page. What a great idea, having the fireflies light up in the end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A sparkler This is an information book about a lonely firefly searching for other fireflies. The search leads him to other sources of light such as light, candle, and flashlight. The text may be a little weak but that is what gives you time to add science discussion or what we feel like when we are feeling lonely. The last page is the best and sparks in those little eyes makes it all worthwhile!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Very Lonely Firefly This book is great for kindergarten children. I read it to my class and they seemed to really enjoyed it. The pages were bright, beautiful pictures, and the last page was a hit. We turned the lights off to see it better. The story is cute and the children would guess what the light was that the firefly saw before I told them. This is a great book to own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The multi sensory edition is a delight The larger format of this book provides a more complete canvas for the wonderful illustrations, and they seem to come to life better. The story is a classic about perserverance, searching and finding a group to belong to. The extra addition of the flashing tails of the fireflies at the end of the book brings delight to even the smallest of readers who marvel at the sight presented. Both my one year old and 2 year old adore this book
