Synopsis

The fourth and latest cinematic version of Louisa May Alcott's much-loved, classic children's novel. The story follows the adventures and romances of Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March as they grow up and become young women. As the girls encounter obstacles -- especially the absence of their father, away fighting the Civil War -- their kind and wise "Marmee" tries to guide them and help them learn from their errors.
