Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fun for the whole family! In true Barenaked Ladies style this will have the whole family bopping around. Borrowed this from the library and now plan on purchasing multiple copies for up coming birthdays. Had the 1, 7, 38 and 52 year old in the house grooving and singing along. On another plus, it's Canadian!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pure Genius I love this CD! However, be prepared to have the songs permanently etched in your brain! They STICK. The alphabet song "crazy ABCs" near the end of the album is a riot. I'm buying 2 more copies for my nieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Least annoying children's album EVER! I am not a real Bare Naked Ladies fan, but I was looking for something new to keep the nippers quiet on a long car trip and thought I'd chance it. I was pleasantly surprised. It is truly a good album - catchy tunes, kids'-interests-based lyrics, ("Snacktime", hello!), many different musical genres, lots of jokes (some adults-only, like the CBC Radio-announcer parody between songs, and the guests who call in their favourite snacks: "Hi, I'm Geddy, and I like BBQ potato chips", for e.g.)... In short, if you've got kids under 10, they will enjoy this, and you will be able to stand it when they want to hear it again and again. Our family faves: "Pollywog In A Bog" - a reggae discussion of amphibian life cycles; and "Wild Tune", a spooky number about music in nature. Does not disappoint!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always in my CD player! This CD is amazing...I love every single song...oh, and so does my 13 month old! We listen to the CD every morning after breakfast, dancing around the living room! While my daughter bops to the beats I sing the hilarious lyrics :) What a great way to introduce different genres of music to your child - it's so much nicer when the music appeals to adults too. I'm looking forward to the day she is old enough to laugh her head off to the witty words :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Make no m'steak!! Seriously, make no m'steak. As BNL's #1 fan, I was very pleased to learn that they were bringing out this album just as I brought home my first baby!! Thanks guys! I love , LOVE, LOVE this album. It can make anyone feel absolutely giddy with its catchy lyrics and melodies. And the touching homage to our dearly departed Pluto....much appreciated. My favorite is Raisins. Even if you don't have kids, you can feel like one again if you just BUY THIS CD!! That's right, $14 to feel young again! That's good value for YOUR consumer dollar.... P.S- Ed, the R is a tricky tricky letter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoyed by both children and Parents! This CD is clever and fun. Musically, kids enjoy the playful melodies and parents and older children can appreciate the humourous lyrics. Every different music genre you can imagine is represented on this CD. Everything from Gordon Lightfoot to 80's techno sounds are covered. The different musical styles keeps the CD fresh and unpredictable. My kids are singing the tunes to themselves throughout the day. The polywog song is their favourite.
