Rated 4 out of 5 by from Olivia's house It is really nice. I wish they had more houses like this one because it is big and has lots of cool things in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! I am not that excited about dividing Lego into "girl" and "boy", but the colors and the details in these sets attracts me anyway. And after watching the Lego movie; who says I can't mix it with City and other themes anyway. ;-) This took me some time to build and I really enjoyed the attention to details. I also love it when they take the older bricks I know from my childhood in the 80's and use them in new sets, it makes the bricks more versatile as it can be used together with other sets. My unborn daughter will inherit all the Lego me and my hubby has bought throughout the years, so I hope she'll love this when she grows old enough. :-) And I also hope she'll allow her parents to join the play. You never grow too old for Lego!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fun time the house was good for dad to build while the small amenities (fridge, lawn mower, etc.) were good for her. Definitely a good daddy daughter time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good set. I really like this set because it is very detailed. The three characters can be friends OR Olivia and her parents. There is a REAL mirror in her bedroom, (not a glass one.) It is not as big the box is. That is good because it makes it very easy to carry. Lets sum it up with the pros and cons. pros: it comes with a cat yard you can redesign the floors so there are many different ways to play with the house and the figures. rooftop patio shower doors cons: it is not too big I really think you should buy this set!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome House! I got this set for my B-Day. It is really awesome! But I think that Olivia should have a brother or sister. And Peter and Anna don't have a bedroom. Where do they sleep? On the couch or floor? Besides that, I think that this is a great set!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oh yeah! I have been saving up for this! it is sooo much fun to play with. It is a GREAT addition to your LEGO friends city! The house is really realistic!I love how you can arrange the house any way that you want. Now for some pro's and cons PROS: The kitten is so cute! Purple 1x1 cone(those are so rare!) Olivia's mom and dad Swing that works! CONS: I think that they should have added a room for the parents...(do they sleep on the couch or something?) Maybe Olivia should have had a brother or sister. It was kida wierd that the front door was in the kitchen....But that made it unique! Well, that's it! I give that 5 thumbs up!!!!! ☺ Signing off!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loveing this set!! I enjoyed building this house. I put it together slowly, because it added to the fun!! I renamed the 3 people and used Stephanie's car for the family car. I also wish there were 2 empty rooms. Overall, I like the house best. I have most of the friends sets,But the houes is my favorite!! Karen

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Boring When you get this set you are really excited and think it is a lot of but, but i really isn't that fun. what i mean is that my mom got me this is and i was super duper excited. i had fun building it. when it was done i played with it a lot but then it started to get boring. i already knew all the features and everything. i think lego friends but this set, not so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Set!!!! I LOVE this set! it has tons of detail in the house, yard and mini-figures. It was an average build and took me an hour to an hour and a half to build. The play experience is wonderful and i could seriously play with this set for hours. Olivia's parents (Peter and Anna) were a great add on to the set and just makes this set better! I have many Lego and Lego friends sets and this one is probably my favorite. It is a great addition to your Lego town and just overall an amazing set and i would definetley recommend it to everyone! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive, and really fun to add-on. I bought this set for myself, and I really enjoy it. It was a pretty easy build. I, personally, didn't like how the kitchen was set up, and that the front door led into the kitchen. But for me that was the beginning of the fun! I rearranged the kitchen, adding more counter space, a cupboard, and a coffee machine. I also moved the kitchen stuff into the family room, and the family room stuff in to the kitchen, and I'm much happier with the setup. Using windows for walls, I made the parents a bedroom, with Olivia's bed. I put the bed from Mia's Bedroom set in Olivia's room, and it matched the color scheme perfectly. I also reconstructed Olivia's room to put her deck outside the front of her room. I also added a deck for the parents, fixing the roofing problems by removing Olivia's deck. I didn't touch the bathroom, except to add four 2 by one green tiles, as towels. I also removed one of the drawers from this room, adding it to Olivia's room. I also put a few plates under the roof, instantly adding storage! I put the house and the yard on a green 30/30 plate to stabilize, also adding more yard space. While not all of her yard fits, it works better for play. In the yard I added a patio, doghouse, and Emma's Splash Pool. I guess what I'm saying is that I really like this set, because it adds a lot of possibility for personal improvement. I would really like to see room sets, sets with just a room that you can add to the house. Specifically a parent's room, another girl's bedroom ( Wouldn't it be fun to use random Lego friend parts and give Olivia a sister?), and blank rooms, without furniture. If Lego were to come out with blank rooms, I would buy two, adding them to my house, placing Emma's Studio in. Also maybe another, to put Emma's Karate class in. It would be fun! And you wouldn't have to worry about too many rooms, because there rooms change in and out so easily, you can just put away the one's you aren't playing with. I would also enjoying see more outfits for the Mom and Dad. But it's not a huge deal. I would like to clarify that I did not name all of the things I added.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Has GOT to be the best set LEGO could ever offer! I saved up for this, and I have to say, it was worth the money. You can play house, bake sweets, tend to the garden, the possibilities are endless with this set. I do reccomend buying Mia's Bedroom along with it, and getting a 12 by 24 plate to set it on. Then transfer Olivia's queen into the parents room, put Olivia's nightstand next to the couch, and Mia's bed in her room. PROS: Endless rare pieces, swing, cat, food, Dad. CONS: None I've noticed! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoyed this build I had fun building this set. All the little details and accessories really finished off the house. I'm glad they created a full size and fully featured house for the Friends series, girls deserve to have cool builds too. The kitchen turned out great, I never would have thought of putting those pieces together to make a blender. :) I do miss the traditional, more poseable, mini-figs; the mini-doll figures just aren't the same. I also made a few colour changes to the outside of the house to match my less pink personality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent set Olivia's House offers HOURS of play for our 10yr old daughter. She LOVES this set and wanted it forever! Finally Santa brought it this past Christmas. There is a lot to do in Olivia's house and makes a great addition to her Friends sets. There are lot of pieces, little extra details that really make it a great valued gift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pros & Cons For 10 yr daughter: Pros - Great attention to detail, each room and the yard are filled with items like a real dollhouse - except you get to build them! - Age appropriate (finally Lego got it right for girls!) - Very playable. there are so many items built for playing, from lawnmowers to TV's to a make-up dresser, etc - The different house configurations are interesting Cons - Would have liked to see one more minifigure included, 3 is a little sparse for such a big set. Maybe a baby... Overall a great set! Friends finally is the right themed LEGO for girls. Age appropriate and interesting. My daughter loves them. Hope to see more Friends houses in the future. For displayers/collectors: 4 For builders & players = 5! Can't emphasize this enough, especially for girls, who are too often left out of the building. Hope this helps!

We built it over a couple of days and she enjoyed it more than I expected. I am so happy that there is finally Lego for girls!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellant set, go lego friends!!!!! I got this set just today, I have liked and admired it for ages, and I must say, I was not let down. Building was really fun, love the stickers! I love all the rooms, and I think the choice of furniture was really nice. I recommend buying Emma's splash pool, plus Olivia's house together, the pool goes nice in the garden and you can have an extra sun bed for the open roof. I also like the way the house can change around to make different houses, and the swing is a really nice little added detail. here are the pros and cons. Pros: three minifigs, lots of lego food, nice rare pieces spacious garden, Olivia's mum and dad. Cons: none!!! I think lego friends are brilliant, I'm glad lego have finally got a great theme for girls!

Rated out of 5 by from My daughter received this for her 6th birthday and it was the first present she opened. She dove right in and had it finished and put together after an evening and morning working on. Such a great toy and fun to play with after it has been put together.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from If Lego made Polly-Pocket... I received this set as a gift to keep busy when I was recovering from surgery. Overall, I think it is cute and age appropriate to the the LOWER end of the range (really best for 6-10). 12 year old girls usually are developing transitioning preferences to those of young adults and might not appreciate the pandering to "little girl" color choices of candy pink and purple or play limited to what are "traditional" female roles in the household. As to Difficulty: Pros: The nice thing is that the "structure" can be reconfigured into a number of layouts making up to three-stories using the different rooms which are detachable individually. Cons: The build was WAY too easy. The walls are just large panels and "flexible". However, more connector pieces and options to use standard or decorative flat ones would have been nice to have to make the configurations more stable. Play Experience: Pros: Attractive in form. Cons: Detractive in color-scheme. While the set is cute, play experience is limited to that of "playing house". This is really just a Lego doll-house. The mini-figures are detailed in their paint and hair but are lacking when it comes to play. They are not articulated at the wrists and hence motion/action is limited. The legs are similar to the droid legs of some Star wars sets and do not move independently. The hair pieces are quite large and get in the way when trying to hold accessories "realistically". The characters could easily just have been traditional mini-figs, just maybe with flesh-tones if the goal was some semblance of realism. Realistically, modern people do not look like skinny Polly-Pocket. "Peter", the male mini-figure, is dressed like a business-man (*insert rant about gender-roles and stereotyping conditioning of girls*) while the age of female characters is not discernable- hard to tell if "Anna" is Olivia's mother or friend. Set includes many accessories, but they do not have enough storage space in the set for the TINY pieces (these with real children playing WILL be lost--- expect it.) There is only one little set of drawers. More "shelving" and the design of accessories that snap together AND fit (the little chicken leg/hot dog all roll around in the dishes). Dear Lego, if and when further products of this line are designed, please intersperse some other colors into the atrocious mauve and pink range (roof could have been mauve with some dark blue roof tiles). Not everything for little girls should LOOK like it is a frosted cake and was designed ONLY for little girls. My ten-year old niece rebuffs many "girl-toys" because she is beginning to feel like they MISREPRESENT real female experience. Girls will become life-long Lego fans (and like me, "play" with them into adult-hood). These toys should remain ageless and relevant, but with pink, purple, and mauve as the dominant colors that will be a hard sell for older Lego fans. Also, in a day and age when science, technology, engineering and mathematics are being highlighted as the fields of future employment, it would have been wiser to focus on making Olivia's Laboratory a full set rather than just a booster pack, just saying. I would question the marketing decision to focus on a cafe' and salon as the other main structures rather than something that challenges conditioning towards traditionally feminine roles. It would be a nice offering to have seen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! Finally LEGO has released a collection for girls. I remembered as a child having a kitchen form LEGO that was very dear to me. What they had until recently was mostly for boys. Thanks a lot LEGO, you have a great market in front of you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, Girl Legos! Legos have always been my son's domain until you introduced Lego Friends. Thank you! My daughter received this for her birthday. She LOVES it! She loved that she could reorganize the rooms and she really loved the small details that are added to make this seem more like a real home. The characters are cute and this allows for her to express herself. Thank you from a true Lego Mom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for kids - adults can convert to modular I bought some Friends sets for my nieces to have at my house. They enjoy my sets from Winter Village but the Friends seemed more geared to them since they are both under 6. The oldest can put together my collection with a lot of adult assistance. I ended up enjoying the set and realized if I had 2 sets I could convert Olivia's house to a 16X32 modular style house to add to my block with the Pet Shop & Town Hall. This set is great for adult collectors who also have children. In my case nieces & a nephew who visit 3-4 times a year. When they visit we can take apart the modular and both girls can build a house for themselves while their brother builds Hagrid's Hut. We'll have quite the neighborhood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ist time purchaser / builder "now I'm hooked! I have never played with Lego's but my Grandchildren love them (especially the boys). I always look for ways that I can interact and relate to my Grandchildren, I saw the informatin about the new "Friends" collection. The theme and colors inspired me and I wanted a set to see what all the fuss is about. For Valentines Day I asked my hubby for either a $16,750.00 diamond ring OR the Olivia Dollhouse. My ploy worked he bought me the dollhouse. I started working on it right away......and did not stop until it was finished. My review title sums up my experience. Okay it did take me several hours to build it. However it was FUN, the directions where easy to understand and every single piece that was supposed to be in the package was there all 695 of them. I had so much fun I will defintely purchase additional sets. It will be hard....but I will hold off building them until my Grandchildren come for visits, so we can do them together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for little girls! My daughter just used the rest of her Christmas money to buy this. I was a little unsure of it at first because I didn't like the idea of all the little parts. Im so glad that she talked me into it now. We had a ton of fun putting it together and even more fun playing with it. We have gone back several times to order more from the collection. What a great idea for little girls. My daughter has two birthday parties coming up and I plan on buying them both something from this collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lego Friends will be a big hit! I love this house and the whole Lego Friends idea for the girls. The little dolls were really cute. We have bought a few sets, also for a 9 yr old, and she loves them. We will definitely buy more. I just wish there were more dolls available, especially different races. I would be willing to buy them separately if they're made available. I wish there were more add-ons for the house, like additional bed rooms or a play-room. I know it's a new line and you're just getting started, so these are not complaints, just suggestions. All in all, I highly recommend the series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous new product My daughter has spent HOURS playing with her new Lego Friends house and a few other peices, she is 9 and has had it already a month, this never gets put away as it's the 1st thing she plays with after homework. Bravo Lego, finally a product brought to the market that girls really play with. Her birthday is coming up and we will definately be adding to the collection!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Set! I recently bought this set, and I just put it together today. It only took me about 45 minutes, so it was a fairly easy build. Nothing was too difficult, except for when I was doing the bathroom floors, and I accidentally didn't follow the directions exactly!!!!! A good set, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great introduction to Friends Series I previewed the set online at LEGO.com, and decided to buy it in store. I love the unique parts and colours with this set. The set is for 6-12, but it took me about two hours to build as an adult expert builder, so expect to spend some time with your kids if they're not very patient. I am impressed with some of the uses of pieces (garage door slats for shower screen - brilliant!) as well as other unique ideas (blender, sinks) and unique pieces to create furniture. I definitely recommend this set!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the Best Lego Sets Ever Created! This set is outstanding. It has so many new and interesting Lego pieces and the colors are fantastic. There are many things that I like about it, it's a very enjoyable build. Placing the stickers on just right was the hardest part for me but being extremely picky is the issue. This set is worth every penny! If you are tempted to buy any of the other Friends sets first, stop and think about what you will get if you invest in this one because it's loaded!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Colourful Purchase however... this was a really good purchase however i found it quite small for the price i paid for the item, i thought for £70 the house would be a bit bigger, i felt the Belville Sunshine House was more valvue for money than this house but on the bonus side they had some lovely brightly coloured pieces which made the house look nice. I also had some problems as i was unable to complete the build as i had quite a few pieces missing so the house was incomplete so it was a bit unfortunate

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Darling House We purchased Olivia's House (for our daughter Olivia, who has a twin brother...big lego fan) yesterday for her 9th birthday. She used some of her Christmas money to buy a few sets earlier in the week and really wanted this house. Even though we got back from our celebration really late last night, she couldn't wait to start putting it together and was up at the crack of dawn to do the rest. I helped her with some of it because she was just too excited to play with it and I kept saying to myself, "this is way too cute". She has been playing with it ALL DAY, and her brother is playing with it too...even though he got the big Star Wars Millenium Falcon yesterday as his gift. It really is an awesome set!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set ...... I was ecstatic the moment I received my Lego email announcing the Lego Friends line. I have purchased a few of the Creator houses in the past but have always been disappointed because there weren't any furnishings. I was totally delighted with the furnishings in Olivia's House......I'm a fan of all things miniature. The non-traditional figures were also a plus. I have a 7-year-old granddaughter who will love playing with this set and has expressed an interest in legos as well. I plan to purchase additonal Lego Friends sets and look forward to putting them together with my granddaughter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fun for Girls! This set is so awesome for girls, finally! Tons of cute little details, very easy to rearrange and play in the rooms. It's basically like a little doll house, and it works with original Minifigs too. It's fun to buy the little mini sets and add on, you can get really creative and make it special to you! That's the best part about Lego, now girls can fully enjoy it too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winter Village Toy store My wife & I built this together for the Holiday decor. We have introduced our grandaughters to Legos. They have 2 of the Spongebob sets, several City sets and vehicles. We are ecstastic about the New Legos "Friends" sets, and cannot wait to purchase them the minute they come out for sale. As my wife says, Its about time Legos addressed the female gender, even though that did not stop her from buying several Legos sets, both as gifts and for personal enjoyment.
