Rated 5 out of 5 by from Combine With Republic&Sith Battle Pack 4 Epicness! The Republic Starfighter is sick! Buy this and Republic and Sith troopers battle pack for $60 and you have yourself an Old Republic battle for Alderaan. If you have $90 more you could buy the Sith Interceptor with this but I do not have it but I have this set and the battle pack. Just giving fellow fans a good idea. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from FOR THE REPUBLIC! first off, I am a huge fan of the old republic so that makes this set a lot cooler! Yeah, this set will be a lot more fun if you know more about the old republic. (the old republic takes place before star wars episode 1) But anyway...I wish this set maybe came with a bad guy but you can get some in that battle pack :) I wish this set had a place for the droid but oh well. I love how the wings fold in and out. The clips for the wings were a good extra touch. Ok, on to the minifigs! Satele Shan: Comes with a double light saber. She comes with brown hair but i put on black. She needs purple lips not red. And she needs Some more grey on the arms. But overall, she is cool! She is my most favorite jedi. Republic Trooper (Jace Malcom): I really like this guy! no flaws to him accept no helmet or shoulder pauldron. His weapon is really cool! I think it looks more like that missile launcher he uses in the second video game trailer. His head is really accurate. Good body printing so this guy is sweet! "We must fight, to victory or death! FOR THE REPUBLIC! T7-01: This little astromech droid is cool! I love how you get to build him! He is really fun. I like how he has a wheel on the back oh him too! Well, This set was worth the money, and I am glad i got it! THANKS FOR READING MY REVIEW! May the force be with you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Set! This is one of my very favorite Lego sets. It's fun to build and fun to play with, so it's a great gift for a kid or for a Lego builder/collector. The way that the wings can either attach to the side of the plane, or be unfolded when its in flight mode is really creative. This set also has 3 amazing and never seen before minifigures. There is a Jedi with a cool double-blade lightsaber, a clone with a buildable heavy machine gun, and a droid that you actually get to build! No more 3-piece droids! The only thing that I don't like about this set is that only one minifigure can go in the spaceship at a time, and there isn't even a space on the top of the ship for the droid to go. This set is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks for reading!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SWTOR This set is a great set you get a Jedi with a double sided lightsaber and an old republic trooper with a good gun and great detail. The droid is a new type of droid that looks great. The wings fold in and out and so do the guns it has flick fire missiles and a spot to put the lightsaber.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pros & Cons Pros - The two different wing configurations make this set interesting & fun - The set looks great from most angles in both wing configurations (not particularly from the bottom, but not bad). - The use of the clips to hold the wings in place is simple - simply brilliant - why have I not thought of this before? I will be incorporating this into my own models that transform and need functionality - Minifigs are cool - The set is easy to play with Cons - Cant put the droid in the ship - I ate too many Christmas cookies while building it... This is a relatively easy build with a a clever technique with the wings that will be easy to incorporate into your own creations. For Displayers/collectors: 4+ For Builders/players: 5 Hope this helps!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my favorite ship this set has three mini figs we have never got before and i love the droid that it has a back wheel and that and has more pzs than the average min fig now to the ship it had four flick missiles they are easy to fire because they are pushed out with a pole instead of flicking them when i got this set i was not sure if the wing folding would work the way i thought but they work great they fold nice and easy and than can pop right back out for flight mode and what i don't like is that trooper did not come with a helmet but what are you gona do this is a great set i highly recommend it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW amazing this set is amazing, i got it a sale so it was cheaper. pros: the droid is amazing it is very detailed with amazing prints on it, no stickers, it is the only jedi with a double light saber and the printing on her outfit is amazing the republic trooper is amazing with his machine gun cons: no place to put the droid on the starfighter which is a shame

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome This set is awesome! You can open the wings and close them very easily. I actually dropped it and it didn't break (still don't try to drop it!). The three NEW minifigures have lots of detail. Satele Shan also has a double sided lightsaber. The only thing about the republic trooper (Jace Malcom) that I don't like is that it's hard to keep him up while holding the chain gun. Also, there are no stickers on this set (all items are printed on!). Some may say it's overpriced, but with the amount of detail on ship and the minifigures it's totally worth it! Hope this review helps! "We must fight-to victory, or death-for the republic! - Jace Malcom

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We must fight! To victory or death! "We must fight, to victory, or death! For the republic!"-Jace Malcom Hey guys! Today I will be reviewing the Republic Striker-class Starfighter. So lets get straight to it shall we. THE MINIFIGURES Satele shan-I like this minifig. A good amount of detail, but not overly detailed. Also I think her character is pretty cool to. She has a double sided face (which I think is the same face as Wonder Woman) and a double bladed lightsaber. Republic trooper-AKA Jace Malcom. probably my favorite figure in this set. He also is greatly detailed. The only thing about this fig is the gun LEGO had for him. It is kind of hard for him to hold. Still a very nice fig though. T7-O1-Although he is kind of unnoticed in this set, he is a cool minifig too. I like how LEGO designed him. He also has printed parts, which is nice. THE STRIKER-CLASS STARFIGHTER First off, this is a very nice model. LEGO did a fine job designing it. It's wings move to and from attack position. The main guns on the wings also move from attack postion to non attack position. It has an opening cockpit, flick and fire missles, and a spot to hold Satele's lightsaber in back. The color scheme for this set looks good too. The only real problem I have with this set is that I wish it had landing gear, but even so it is still an awesome set. Overall I really recommend this set. Thats all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent ship for the price. easy to assemble, light weight and fun to play with. easy to store when the wings are folded. Really like the minifigs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great!! A model that I don't have to place sticker decals on. A great all around set with 3 mini-fig's all great in detail, good ship design looks like an early predecessor to a X-wing. I'm very happy to see no stickers for the model again. Very nice work on the way the wings lock in to place, nice and low profile on that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good minifigs, average ship, AWESOME weapons! Well, the review title states it all. The ship is okay, but kinda small. The minifigures are neat, with the clone being my favorite. I like to pretend he's Sharp, a clone from a Star Wars book series. Satele Shan is a good minifig to have, and the droid is GREAT. The weapons are GREAT! The gun is my favorite of all the Star Wars weapons. I only have one complaint about the lightsaber. I wish Lego would design a special handle for the double-bladed lightsaber. I know they designed a special blade for Assaj Ventress, so why not all the double-bladed characters? Anyway, thanks for reading. Brocktree1234 P.S. If you agree with me on the special blade for the double-bladed lightsaber, please vote "helpful" for this review! Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Buy This set is quite interesting. I love the coloring of the starfighter and no stickers. The starfighter has a lot of moving parts, storage for the Jedi's lightsaber, flick-fire missiles, and landing and flight modes. Decent size. The droid is really cool. This time, I actually got to build a droids body and not have the standard R2 body. Republic trooper is my favorite with the detail and his heavy gun. The Jedi is cool with the double lightsaber blade. It can stand up really well even on carpet. overall great job lego and I look forward to seeing more Old Republic sets soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Innovative and amazing Browsing LEGO.com I happened upon this beauty, I was immediately drawn to it's eloquent and yet simple design. The design is very similar to the X-wing which is most likely done on purpose to show the early inceptions of the starfighters we are all familiar with. Anyway, enough with the history. The fighter comes with three minifigures, two people and one droid. The republic trooper boasts a new blaster/minigun that dwarfs the firepower of any other standard soldier. The level of detail on his armor and on his face is staggering Republic Trooper 10/10 The Jedi features a dual-bladed lightsaber. She also features a passive, smiling face and an angry, combat face. The opposite face is concealed by her hair piece. The dual saber, while looking big and clunky for a LEGO fig to hold is surprisingly easy to pose and flows well with the character. Jedi 10/10 The Droid is unlike anything I have ever seen before. They have completely gone from scratch with this one. Instead of employing the standard R2-D2 body that we are all familiar with, they instead build a body that incorporates a rear-wheel that the figure leans back on to roll. I was blown away. The amount of detail that is on the head pieces is also quite impressive. Droid 10/10 The fighter itself is a decent size. Not quite as long as the X-wing but certainly long with an impressive wing span. The nose section has a good width to it leading up to the cockpit unlike the X-wing or the ARC-170 which always seemed very thin to me, but that's just my opinion. The twin engines are very aesthetically appealing to the eye and also house two clamps between them, directly behind the cockpit, to store the lightsaber (which can also hold the Troopers gun). After making the purchase, I realized that the wings can fold inwards to almost mimic an A-wing fighter. The guns rotate under the wings to accommodate this transformation. The wings are held open or shut with clamps that are found on the wings and bars that are found on the Fighters body. Very innovative. I was extremely pleased with this set and look forward to purchasing the Sith Fury-class Infiltrator so that it can have a good foe to fight in the skies. Republic Fighter 10/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Old Republic Incarnate this little set is quite amazing, lets of moving parts and features, wings fold forward for landing, and in doing so the blasters swing out to aim forward while in land mode, some hidden clips hold them there so the ship can be played with in land mode too. there are also hidden spots for the light-saber the jedi has, and the Droid and trooper are excellent additions to an already fun set. i love the colors of the ship and the feel is straight out of the video game its from. cant wait to pair it with the Sith fury (9500) A must have for gamers and star wars fans, and anyone who likes legos will find this a fun one to build. not to touch some steps are definitely for younger builders but its still a great little build.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fairly good overall I thought it was a great buy, since i play star wars the old republic I though was very nice. Although its cool for fans I do not believe it should be that pricy it should be more like $20.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from this thing that i have flown with in the game... it is so accurat to the one in the game, im suprised that they made it with the folfing wings... one of the best things you can buy, as of yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing but a bit pricey Well this set is just amazing i love the look of it and i love the fact that LEGO are finally making Old Republic sets.I love the minifigures too! I think the standard price of $80 is a bit too expensive. Luckily i picked this up at a local retail store for the great pice of $63.45. Pros: Figs Wings Cannon Cons: Price No space for the droid in the ship.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good set So i've been looking forward to the set for a long time now and i'm happy to see it released, in all the ship is great, I play Star Wars: The Old Republic and the ship is very accurate to it's in game counterpart (found a few parked at the republic fleet while playing) The minifigure for T7-01 is good as i have him as a companion in game and he is accurate in the detail. However there is one detail that disappoints me, on the box, the minifigure of Jace Malcom is named "Republic Trooper" instead which seriously annoys me as his name should be correct on the box. That said he is still a good minifigure, but i do think that his assault cannon should have been a sculpted piece for the more sleek look seen in the CGI Trailer "Hope". I also believe that Master Satele's lightsaber should have been a specially sculpted piece rather than the standard lightsaber hilt as a specially made piece would give the hilt a better size compared to her body, as it is right now it seems a bit too small, plus there is also the issue of the hilt being asymetrical. All in all this is a good purchase to make, despite the weapon and naming issues.
