Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Set for Bat-fans I only recently got into Legos and I've been a lifelong Batman fan so when I saw this set I had to have it. I loved all the little details that make up the set. This has been by far my favorite Lego set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best Lego Batman sets! Great lego set! Even though it took a while to build. It's a whole lot bigger than I expected, it's kinda expensive but worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Batcave Although i would defiantly prefer the old bat cave this one is pretty cool. the best part in this set is ether the display screen or banes truck. all in all this set is really cool and i would recommend picking this up before its gone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's amazing! My 9 year old son got this for himself and he says it's amazing. The best feature is the suit change from Bruce Wayne to Batman. Great mini-figs, and 2 vehicles! Well worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from not the best based on the review title, you may have inferred that i hated this set. that is not true, this is simply a bit of a disappointment considering that the old batcave was amazing and this one is just ok. my main complaint is that this set does not have alfred. the other thing is that this set is uneccesaraly delicate, and a few pieces more would have made this so much more stable and easy to move. i dont realy have anything else to say, so on the pros and cons. Pros: fun to play with cool minifigs Cons: delicate no alfred

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Greatest Set in the 2012 Wave! This set is so amazing. Before I can say anymore I would like to get to the details. Minifigures: Batman (Blue) - This Batman minifgure is pretty cool and classic. I believe this is the Adam West version of batman from the 60s or 50s. Overall he is a awesome minifigure but you can get him in 2 other cheaper sets in the 2012 wave. Robin - I think the new Robin figure is an improvement from the 2006 one. He has a red and black suit. (which resembles Dick from the 90s Batman movies) He looks a lot more tougher and less wimpy in this form. But he is a awesome minifgure! Bruce Wayne - This figure is exclusive to this set! I think they did a nice job on the face. The torso printing is fancy and the hair fits him nice. The minifgure overall is a huge improvement from the 2006 Bruce Wayne. Poison Ivy - The Poison Ivy minifigue is very detailed! Her hair piece is unique and contains green vines in her red hair. She is a huge improvement from the 2006 one too! Overall this minifgure is a great addition to your batman collection! Bane - This minifigure is very classic like. It is the 1997 Batman and Robin Bane (also known as Jeep Swenson Bane). The Bane minifgure has huge abs on his torso and a nice classic head print. The minifgure is super awesome! Vehicles: Batcycle II - This bat cycle is very cool and a nice mini build! It goes well with Batman's colors and is just a cool addition to the set! Bane's Drill - Bane's Drill is also a awesome feature to the set. It's not that small but it fits Bane well. The drill spins when you move the tracks/tires. I think the Drill is pretty awesome! Main Builds: Poison Ivy's Cell - The cell is a awesome feature too. It includes cool stickers with details about Poison Ivy. There is flick missiles on the top of the cell and it can connect to the Batcave! The Batcave - Wow. I have to give a bravo to Lego cause the Batcave was amazing. The 2006 Batcave was amazing too and I never thought they could do as good. Well, I was wrong. This Batcave may be smaller, but it is very detailed! On the left side bottom of the bat cave are some black ladders to lead you up to the second flow. There is a door that slides open so Batman's Batcycle can go outside and fight some crime. And a lot of people have been wondering about this. Does the Batmobile fit through the sliding doors? The answer is yes! The Batmobile isn't in the set but it is in the Two Face Chase set. The 2nd floor of the bat cave on the left side is a place were Batman can watch crime. I think they did a very detailed part on this part. It includes a moving chair and a coffee mug. There are 3 screens with detail on whats going on in Gotham. In the middle of the Batcave there is a catwalk connecting both sides. There is a bat under the little walkway and you can easily split it apart. On the right side of the cave is a absolutely amazing feature. There first is a wall which says "Bat - Gear" and contains two batarangs and police cuffs. On top of the gear is a telephone with a place were Bruce Wayne stands. There is a pin in the back and when you pull it, Bruce Wayne turns into Batman and Batman lands onto the bottom of the right side of the Batcave. I think that feature is awesome but you can make anyone change. Like, you could get the 2008 Robin and make him change into the 2012 Robin in this set. So that feature is awesome! The Batcave rules! So overall this Set is SO worth your money. You get a huge Batcave with awesome features and awesome minifgures. Plus some vehicles! The piece price is pretty good and this is a MUST BUY for all Batman fans! And just ordinary Lego fans! I love the set so much so if your looking for a cool set for stop-motions, playing, displaying, this is your set! 10/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EVERYTHING AWESOME!!! In this set you get EXACTLY what you pay for. My favorite part of this set is Bruce Waynes cool changer. Although it may be hard to build it is totally worth it in the end . My advice is if your looking for a Lego set on a occasion then get this one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bat Cave! This set has so many things you can do with it! A elevator, a cell, computer, Bat Bike, gear, and Banes Driller Driver. This set is bigger then it looks to! The mini figures are great! I don't see how this set can get any better! I Love this set and if you are thinking about buying, I recommend you should!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from To the bat cave! This is a great set for Lego dc superhero Fans, and Lego Batman fans. Pros: Batman (Adam West blue) Bane Poison Ivy Banes driller Bruce to Batman feature Weapons The bat computer is good Bat cycle Bat Cave itself Cons: Bruce Waynes facial expression seems too mean. Robin is too serious looking Price should be $ 59.99 This is a good bat-cave to buy,it does well with its mini figs, but it is really good, especially for people that did not have a chance to buy the older one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Meanwhile at the Batcave This set is amazing. 3 out of 5 of the characters are exclusive to the 2012 wave(Poison Ivy) and 2 of them are still exclusive.(Bane and Bruce Wayne). It come with 2 vehicles which is great for little kids who love to make chase scenes all around the house. Another great feature is the opening batcave doors that can fit the Batmobile. The suit changing elevator is pretty cool. This set is pretty cool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as good as the original Now, I love this set, probably the best DC Superheroes set to this date. But it kinda depressed me from the original LEGO Batman Batcave. The sizes are completely different, and the bottom plates and collumns make this set kinda fragile and an crash easily. But besides these flaws, this a great LEGO Batman set and I would recommend buying it. The minifigures are nice, with Poison Ivy coming with the set, and the transformation booth was a good idea. It was cool changing Bruce just by removing one piece and pushing down, aside from switching the minifigures back and forth. Either way, this LEGO Batman set sure isn't the best, but it's still a good LEGO Batcave set. Thank you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well... Hey! THis is my first review, so hi! I'm chaos, Now about the set... Minifigs: Batman: His suit is the older version of bruce's arsenal, but is okay none the less 4/10 Robin: Wow! I loved his costume and cape but a grappling gun? Seriously? 7/10 Bane: This is the costume he wore in Knightfall, and it has great detail, 9/10 Poison Ivy: I don't think you can get her anywhere else, so that's a bonus 7/10 Vehicles: The motorcycle was an excellent addition, and I LOVED the mining drill vehicle, it makes perfect sense. Set overall: Not flimsy, good detail, especially the computers, but too many stickers... And I liked the two floors and connecting ladder and the prison cell. It's a little small for the price, but is good quality! 8/10 Cya- K

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4. The Batcave This set has lots of features and details. It has tons of playability that you will totally enjoy. Lets go over the set together. MINIFIGURES: 10/10 -BATMAN: The Classic Batman. You don't see lots of these anymore. 10/10. -ROBIN: The regular new Robin. Comes with an exclusive grappling hook! 10/10 just for the grapple. -BRICE WAYNE: He is exclusive to this set. Although I think his hair and face could've had a bit more work. 8/10. -CLASSIC BANE: He is exclusive to this set. He comes with his big Mole-Machine Drill and a stick of dynamite. 10/10 -POISON IVY: She comes with a vine and she is also in the set of my 2nd review, Arkham Asylum. 8/10. With the minifigures done, lets get on to the cave itself. THE BATCAVE: -This is a beauty. I will admit it is not as big as the old one but in my opinion this is much better. Lets start with the left portion of the cave. It comes with folding ladders that they can climb up to get to the computer. The computer looks pretty real with the three glass pieces and some stickers. Above that is some lights and there is a spinning chair. Below that in the back are big sliding doors that Batman can drive out of. This portion gets a 10/10. The next portion is the right. It starts with a little bridge that connects the two portions with a bat hanging underneath. It then has a rack with Batman's weapons and above that is the elevator. The elevator is used when Bruce Wayne changes into Batman. It also has the very cool Batphone! Below the right portion is a prison cell and above that is a very cool "Alert" sign which spins and has two flick-fire missiles. 10/10! So overall the Cave itself gets a 20/20! THE BATCYCLE: Oh yeah, I forgot, this set comes with THE BATCYCLE! It is like the Batpod from the Batman Trilogy except the wheels do not rotate. :( Although the appearance is extremely similar with the two missiles and the design. 9/10. So this set is a very cool set. One thing I do dislike is that it doesn't come with any BURP pieces, or Big Ugly Rock Pieces (or simply Rock Pieces) I mean it IS a cave, right? That basically wraps up this review so as we say...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Batcave When this set came out I almost died, after missing out on it in 2006, my addiction had finally been tamed. Fig Time, Batman is cool, his suit is the 1970 version, his torso is also double sided like his head. Robin is also interesting, his head is double sided along with his body, his color scheme fits him perfectly. Bruce Wayne is yet again some guy in a suit. Bane is almost similar to his 2007 Appearance, except for that his legs are black, Poison Ivy's hair has flowers in It and her appearance has changed completely. Her torso is double sided and her legs are printed. The set is a whole new level of beasty. The suit changer is unique, and is better than the flick switch chamber from the 2006 cave. It Reminds me of the bat poles from the 1970s TV show. The bat computer is significantly smaller but is way more detailed. Underneath is the garage door, that the Batmobile from 2012 can fit through and the the one from 2006 can fit through with some modification to the wings. The small holding cell is annoying, it is focused around poison ivy, so I had to cover the stickers with grey bricks, the cell is cool because it has new jail cell bars. Overall, this set is TOTALY worth it to get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from really good well i got this set for my birthday and wow it was great. it took me about 1 or 2 hours to make. i don't have much to say about this but i love the bruce wayne changing in to batman and thing. one of my favourite things was the drill on banes thingy. thanks for reading my (short) review :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Great Set I really like the Batcave, I recently got into Batman and DC. I love the Batcycle that comes with it, and the lift mechanism's really cool (though it's REALLY fiddly to construct)! The Bane's drill reminded of the Thunder Driller from the Power Miners line a few years back, as it has the same function. It's really cool, and has some great parts. I wouldn't suggest putting the stickers on the prison though, as it makes it more personal to Poison Ivy, making it strange to put other bad guys in instead. I love the props (the Batarangs, phone, handcuffs ETC) and the opening doors (opening/sliding doors are always an attractive feature to me). The Minifigures: Batman: Great, as ever. Bruce Wayne: Looks cool, but the head doesn't suit him. He looks too old and grumpy in my opinion. Robin: I just hate this version, I wish they had continued the Robin from the old Batman theme, with the green parts and yellow cape (I've had to make a custom version instead). Bane: Just awesome. No other word can describe him. Poison Ivy (pretty cool, but nothing special) This is my review of the set, I hope it helps! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of My Best Lego Sets This is a very good set. Along the lines of the Death Star and Super Star Destroyer. I don't have either those sets, but I know it falls into the spectacular and popular category. This definetly has a permanent spot on my Lego display desk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An homage to the original This is my second most recent Lego purchase. In my opinion it does not do any justice to the first Batcave set that was produced quite some years ago. However, that is not to say there is anything wrong with the set. It has an appealing structure that amazed me more and more as I followed the steps in building it. The only disappointing factor is the simplicity of Bane's vehicle. This is a great buy for any Lego or Batman fan. The most attractive feature of these newer DC and Marvel sets is that all of the minifigures are flesh colored. It is a nice change from the in-your-face yellow of the past. I hope to see it become the standard. As with any review I write, I will state that this is a perfect set for children. Lego products help build the imagination. If you've had any questions about purchasing this set, lay them to rest with the knowledge that Lego never disappoints. This set looks as good on a shelf as it does in a smiling child's hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go bat man i love all the detail and features and the way you change bruce wayne into batman is so cool. I love bane and his drill tank too. i love playing with it and I also like putting all the bat vehicles in it. The only thing that would make it a better set would be a mechnism to open the doors and a trap door to the holding cell. Over all great set and i would recommend to every one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of fun This set is fantastic! Some reviews state that this set is not as good as the old batcave but you have to consider it is cheaper and has different or improved features to it. Also I like how colourful it is, it's bright and stands out and looks attractive compared with the old batcave which was quite dark and dull. Pros Batmans changing room thing, which is awsome Characters updated Poison ivy, Bane, Batman, Bruce and Robin The vehicles, banes digger (which looks like it could destroy anything in its path) The bat gear station I love this feature because it looks stunning The bat computer even though the stckers are realy fiddley Still has some of the features of the old batcave Cons Batmans chair infront of the computar the old ones were better Lots of stickers that get realy annoying when they don't go on right I preferred the old robin, the new one looks to serious to be dippy robin I would defently recommend this set because its very fun and looks amazing. And mybe one day it'll become as rare as the old one!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice, LEGO! Let's hop STRAIGHT into the pros and cons Pros: Nice exclusive minifigures (Poison Ivy WAS one :P) Nice drill design Lots of abilities and features. Cons: Zip Overall: I liked this set alot, and like the different features like the turnable bridge, suit changer, swivel chair, sliding doors, and turrets screeching ALERT! :P It took me an hour and a half give or take to build, so prepare for a nice sit down when you pull the bags out of its big box. As I said, it has very nice features and figures with Bane and Bruce Wayne. I think that this Batcycle is more sleek compared to the the one in the Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape, but I like them both. So, as for ratings, I would give it a 9.5 out of 10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME!!!!! AWESOME the only con is no alfred everything else is AWESOME I love the ladder going across but bane could look a little more like from the movie. I really like the set, and want to get the aquaman set too as a companion so batman can turn white!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Batcave 2.0 It is a very good set. It has a special costume changing mechanism which is very, very cool and if you transfer Robins hair onto a robin-looking non-masked minifigure and give robin a hood it can be used for him too! This set fetures a substantual amount of detail, from rock bits down to three batarangs! Pros: 5 excellent, front and back printed minifigures Lots of crime-fighting gear 2 good vehicles Realism Robin's new suit is cool, like his Arkham City suit! Cons: Batman's cape is heavily discoloured set looks a little too small for the price sliding doors aren't easily accesable facing the front of the product Computer space is small and feel's unfinished and there is only one chair

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall: Incredible. This set is absolutely spectacular. The overall structure of the cave, plus all the details really set it off. The minifigures are also really excellent, plus the added vehicles make it cool. Overall review: Minifigs: Posion Ivy is identical to the one in Arkham Asylum, but has great detail and the vine adds to it. Bruce Wayne is almost exactly like the one in the movie, and I think that adds a layer into the set, which I enjoy. Batman is the same as the other sets, simple, and reminds me of the old T.V. show back in the day. Bane is just like I imagine him in the comics, and he works out nicely. Robin is decent, his hair along with the mask are an improvement, although I'm on the fence about his costume change. Vehicles: Bane's mole machine is good, a little small, but still pretty cool. The drill function is nice. Batbike is overall a better build than the one that appeared in the Funhouse, also like the one in the game. Batcave: I really like the details, the computer, the cell, the Bruce Wayne to Batman changing machine are all really neat. It also comes with quite a few accessories, which is cool. Overall. Well worth the buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Batcave of brilliance This set is absoloutly amazing, it comes with good characters and plenty of features. The set has lots of flick missiles which i do like but it seems that most lego sets have them now, which makes the flick missiles less exciting. The moving batcave doors are a bit flimsy and feel unfinished but it is a good feature. You are able to move the batcave around in all forms and attach and dettach the holding cell from the batcave. The detail on the characters and the set is immense and really gives the set a nice touch. What i really like in this set is banes drill, as when you push it on the ground the drill turns with the wheels which is amazing. The set took between 1-2 hours to build. Overall i would recommend this to a minimum age of 6 years old as this has a relatively easy build and is very fun to play with. Thanks for a good christmas ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Set, OK Price I really enjoyed this set while building it with my sister. It was a quick construction, but it is very "flimsy" is some parts. The vehicles are pretty cool and the minifigures are cool too! Pros: ~ Many minifigures ~ 2 vehicles Cons: ~ Very "flimsy" ~ Small for the price

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Batcave Has Returned! All I can say is THANK YOU LEGO! I love the new Batcave! Pros: 1) Minifigures 2) The red Bat-phone 3) Vehicles 4) Costume Changer Pod Cons: 1) No Alfred! =( 2) Flimsy structure in some areas I would HIGHLY recommend this product to any Bat-fan, big or small. =)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent set When I first saw this beautiful set at my convenience store, I thought what a wonderful set! It turned out to be better than I thought originally. The figures are rare and I love Batman Lego sets. The originals are slightly better but this was very good! It is durable and fun to play with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Batcave Review This is a fantastic set and a great build. This set includes functional sliding doors for vehicles to go inside the batcave. The Batcomputer has 3 long transparent blue pieces that look like holograms. My favorite part of the set is when Bruce Wayne can change into Batman. I agree with everyone else about Alfred not being in this set, but I was thinking that maybe Lego will make a WayneManor set and Lego would make a Alfred minifig along with Bruce and Dick Grayson. Pros: Awesome minifigures, Batcycle, Drill tank, transformation cell. Cons: Stickers. Rating:9/10

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good Purchase Well, I've been collecting lego for a long time, and I can say I made a good choice in buying this set. I think the price is reasonable for all this set has. The main three parts include: a computer screen terminal and entry way, with a functional opening door and a flick-fire missile sentry turret. The computer screens have very fine detail. The second part of this set is a place where Bruce can turn into Batman, and a gear section that can be added on to. It also has a small place where Poison Ivy's jail cell can fit in. Now onto the third part, Poison Ivy's cell and Batman's cycle. The cell is a small building with a flick-fire sentry turret on the top of it, with plant printing on the clear areas of the jail. The bars of it can be broken out and put back in easily. I don't like the Bat-Cycle all that much, it seems like it was kinda rushed. The Bat-Cave can be easily added on to. Figs: Poison Ivy, Blue Batman, Robin, Bane-4/5 Price: A+ Playability: Easy to build Vehicles: Bane's drill and Batman's cycle-2/5 Overall:4/5 Very nice set, I would recommend buying it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good for play could be bigger verey good buy great for playing, could have alfred though. if have, had or seen the old batcave it was a lot better. THIS IS A SMALL BATCAVE! could have more peices. i think the old robin was better but the new poisen ivy makes up for it. i also think they should add dr penguin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from its a two faced set.. i think this set is OK i think but its NOT the best it a bit of a rip off if you see the old one and the build is predictable. BUT if you haven't seen the old one ITS EPIC THE SUIT CHANGER IS MUCH BETTER THAT THE OLD ONE , THE OLD ONE JUST SWIZZLED AROUND with batman one one side and Bruce on the other and there was no wall between them so you could see them on the other side lol but it should come with more villans but the new poison ivy is MUCH better for kids the old one was like she was in a green swimming costume but the new one the ivy covers her whole legs but not her arms so its MUCH better bane its worse that's that's it and blue batman rules over every-other batman hes Epic blue i like his black suit but his grey one is just ugh. i love the knew robin and bruce wayne the old bruce had the sapito head from Indiana Jones lego happy days....... anyway that head is WAY overused so bye.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for stop motion This was a great set and a great build, but the two things I have to say are that it was small compared to the 2006 one, and that the could improve it by doing the Bruce Wayne into Batman into Batman on the other side, but instead it would be Dick Grayson into robin,So Bruce could turn into batman, and Dick Grayson into robin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from To the Batcave!! This review will be on the new dc universe super heroes batcave. Some good things about this set, great minifigs and vehicles and the transformation chamber to change bruce wayne to batman. Some things that arent so good, lot of stickers!!! and they should of included alfred, but bane and poison ivy make up for that. now for the pros and cons. Pros Minifigs nice sized batcave vehicles Cons Stickers again!!! no alfred Overall it is a awesome set and it is one you should get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from To the Batcave! This was one of the best sets in the Dc Universe super heroes brand! Pros: The mnifigures. The vehicles. The cool functions. Cons: The Batcomputer could have been bigger. They could've added a vehicle for Robin. There could've been more villains. I feel the overall set should have been bigger. Other than that, it was really fun set! I would reccommend it to Lego fans and Batman fans alike!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not the best Pros so this is easy to build great to play with, nice little chaning room or machine for batman. Cons the value for money is ok but not good this thing should be £30 compared to the old batcave i mean a small comuter and a little batcycle and powermine this is nothing compared to the old lego batman the old one used to be massive compared to this!! overall great product just to much money

Rated 5 out of 5 by from To the Batcave!!! This is my first DC universe set and I love it! You get 5 minifigures and 3 exclusive to this set! Minifigs: Batman: You get the dark blue batman, the one that appears more in the comics. You get 3 batarangs and great details. Robin: This is the best robin lego released but, since robin is a little lame, he gets a lame weapon. great details Bruce Wayne: Bruce Wayne is Bruce Wayne, with great details. He has homever no second smiling face. Poison Ivy: She is angry, and she should, since lego always place her into cells: first in the arkham asylum, then here. Bane: Bane is Bane.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Returning to the Bat-Cave. Now I don't own this set but I have done my research so I am going to review this with the best of my knowledge. As in all Lego series you'll get the repeats, some for the best and some for the worst. This set is not all that bad. This set has a more modern feel to it with the holographic computer screens and the glowing jail bars. There is some problems with this set so I will address them first. Cons: Small for the price. Yes, I know the price of plastic is on the rise and Licensed Brands like DC, Marvel, and Star Wars demand more money for there licenses but they still could have added a base plate for the computer/double door section to place vehicle(s) for display. Another problem is there is NO Alfred Pennyworth in this set. And again, it wouldn't have killed them to put him in. And when I say Alfred I mean like the original. And for those who want a newer version, make a magnet set that includes some new figures like Christian Bale Batman Suit and Mr. Fox. These are the only two problems in this set from what I can see. I hope my review helped you at all. -SITH Z

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Second best set The batcave has alot of difficult buliding when you first open up the box.The minifigures are good like bane`s cool and his red drill.Poison ivy has ivy on her hair and a vine in her hand so thats neat.Theres a jail cell for poison ivy.Now the batcave is the best part of course because theres batgear and you can transform bruce wayne into batman by putting him down this machine with a batman suit sticker on it.The batbike is cool it goes really fast.Last theres two doors underneath the bat simbol and hes batbike can go through the door and go fight crime so can the batmobile if you buy the new two face set.The batcave has to be 10/10 the batbike and banes drill probaly 9/10 and the minifigures 10/10.This set is well made and i perfer it to batman fans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TO THE BATCAVE!!! This set has its good and bad sides, but it does not disappoint! Compared to the previous version of this set (7783 The Batcave: The Penguin and Mr Freeze's Invasion), the older one still seems to be the best. This is due to the fact that this lego comes with less minifigures, and the batcave is somewhat smaller. However, this set is fun to play with and the minifigures are GREAT in detail! PROS: - New Bruce Wayne/Batman transformation chamber! - Large sliding doors - New and better detailed versions of BATMAN, BRUCE WAYNE, ROBIN, BANE, and POISON IVY - drill on bane's drill tank spins when moved! - plenty of flick fire missles CONS: - Batcycle is kinda small and cheesy compared to the one in 7886 The Batcycle: Harley Quinn's Hammer Truck - Bane's drill tank was smaller than i expected /: - red phone gets stuck in its holding piece when you try to pick it up - only 5 minifigs. we could have used a Tim Drake or Alfred minifig Despite the cons, it is still a fun set! However, if you have the old Batcave, i recommend sticking with that one and not purchasing this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Batman Set This set is better than the previous batcave (apart from the fact that alfred doesnt apper in it) The bat computer is a good size, the bat bike is made well along with the mole machine. overall a brilliant set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from THE BATCAVE I would say this is a great set. The set is about 10 cents per piece which is great! The minifigures are good. You get: Bruce Wayne, Classic Batman, Robin, Bane, and Poison Ivy. The Bruce Wayne looks like Christian Bale. The vehicles are awesome! Although I would puffer the bat-pod. The Batcave isn't all that great. Yeah sure it's okay but it dose have some Pros and Cons. Pro: Better working Bruce to Batman station, great minifigures, and cool vehicles. Cons: Small Batcave, no Alfred, and if Bruce looks like Christian Bale why have Classic Batman. RATINGS: for younger kids-9, for adults-8.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from buy it? I found this to be an average set, compared to the previous batcave, this set is lacking in size and minifigures. i like the spinning platform from the old set and wish they would have added one, or at least an extra minifigure, this set is a great place to have an alfred. Pro: the little drill dozer, although unfitting for bane, a nice build. looks pretty good Con: stickers lacking minifigure, you only get 3 good figures, bane, robin, ivy. Batman is in every set so he doesnt add anything to the set, bruce wayne could go for an average figure

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Set This Set is great. 3 figures are exclusive Pros: Great Figures Good piece count Banes Mole Machines drill moves when you role it You Can Change bruce wayne into batman Cons: Bruce wayne looks strict no alfred if you have £70 then buy it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome set When batman was last popular I was young and didnt get a chance to purchase any. So, this set was great. I think it looks better than the last one, although the last one had mr freeze, penguin and alfred. I loved it though, and my favorite part was actually the batcycle. One of the best so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I was really happy with this set great minifigures and cool batcave. Pros: Batman (epic light blue suit) Bruce Wayne (real neat minifigure) Robin (cool grapple gun and neat hair) Bane (awesome detail) Poison Ivy (really awesome detail, especially leaves in hair looks epic) Batcycle (looks awesome and has 2 flick missiles) Bane's drill tank (looks really cool and has awesome drill function and 2 flick missiles) holding cell (looks really neat and has a kind of exploding door and 2 rotatable flick missiles) Batcave (AWESOME transformation chamber (which works really well), cool 'bat-gear', great bridge and love the little bat, AWESOME bat-computer and good sliding doors for batcycle and cool ladders on right hand side with 2 rotatable flick missiles. Cons: only 5 minifigs for £70. Overall, superb set and a must have for any bat-fan. 9.5/10 :D Also check out my youtube channel, TheRiddlerIsCool, where I do lego reviews!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best superhero set from DC Universe!! I just recieved The Batcave and I gotta say, Its really really cool! It was an easy, but time consuming build (only due to distractions). I do have to say that this set was definantly smaller from the Lego Batman line. I'm glad they introduced Bane and Poison Ivy in a major coming out set for the DC Universe line. Unfortunately, I do have to point out the flaws of this set. No Alfred. You cant have a Batcave without Alfred. If they can introduce Alfred, make a Wayne Manor set! Also, I didnt like the color scheme for Robin. I understand the concept for a Tim Drake Robin, but even Tim wore the classic red and green suit. But overall, a good buy for any Lego or DC Superhero fan. PRO: Bruce Wayne transforming into Batman Classic Batman feel (More '80s-'90s color) Introducing Batpod feel to the Batcycle Bane and Posion Ivy CON: No Alfred Colors for Robin Overall: Excellent buy!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad, batman I liked this set because it had two great heroes, two villans, but I must complain with everyone else, there was no alfred! I have to say, that almost ruined it. one thing I loved was the opening doors, which I made open to the streets of my lego city collection just for fun. Batman's chair looked nice, and the minifigures were improved from their old ones, even though the sets have gotten worse since the original batman sets stopped being made. overall, I'd give this set a 9/10, almost perfect, and the price wasn't too bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy Rusted Metal Batman! This set was awesome. Seriousley, it is the best Super Hero set Yet! Minifigures-9/10 The minifigs are great, with 3 exclusives. Batman, this is funny because just last year you would have been so lucky to have a batman. Now you can just say that you have one. The black suited one is better and I don't like the coulor Sheme. Robin, he is improved and looks much cooler. Bruce Wayne, he is a bit generic but still an improvement over the last Poison Ivy, also an improvement and my fave in the set. Bane, this is only one where I think it needs improving. I liked how the old one had gloves and blue jeans. But oh well. Now one fig that this set needed was Alfred. I have the old one, but for some they are not going to have someone to give Batman his tea!. Vehicles-7/10 This is one of those sets where the villains have the better vehicle. The batbike is generic but still better than the one in the funhouse. It has 2 flick fire missiles which are just cheesy. The drill has 2 flick fires but also has an awesome drill feature. The Batcave-10/10 This is the best part and has loads of detail. The doors open manually and fit the Batmobile perfectley. The computer section has 3 little computers and 3 large holographic ones. The chair works well because there is a gap where the cape can go instead of getting bent. Two red-lighted ALERT! signs are on opposite ends of the batcave armed with flick fire missiles. The right section contains a lift to turn Bruce Wayne into Batman. Works well but cape can sometimes get stuck. Bat-gear next to is nice but kinda lacks some stuff. The prison cell is cool with stickers meant to represent the special conditions for Poison Ivy including temperature. Overall this is a great set and pick it up before it runs out and starts to cost a fortune!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from expensive, but worth it! This set is awesome. The build is really cool, especially making the lift funtion that transforms Bruce Wayne into Batman. Also the prison cell is much better than the ones in city police stations and the minifigures are all detailed well. I love the doors that open to allow automobiles into the cave. Practically every car in lego history can fit through it. The only problem is no alfred. but all in all, great set!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from awesome charcters buildings but not batman costume I like everything in it, everything is fine, but the costume is blue, less detailed and not like the black one. the black one represents batman more because he is the dark knight and he usualy looks better and recognizable with black.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Batcave! This is by far the best Super Heroes set I've purchased so far. The lift that Bruce Wayne changes into Batman is still mind-boggling to me. The doors the thing has is sort of cheesy, because it's manual. There could have been gears to open it up. The computer is smaller than the last one, like the rest of the set, but I find it to be much cooler than the old one. The drill that Bane uses has to go slow or else it'll get really loud and the actual drill might fall off. The jail cell is a bit small but you CAN fit more than 5 minifigures in it. The flick fire missile system doesn't work as well as it probably should because the turning pieces prevent you from firing the missiles, but I guess once the missiles get used to firing, the stickiness will wear off. Good detail on the minifigures but should have included the Joker in this set. PROS: 5 minifigs Awesome lift for Bruce Wayne to change into Batman. Transparent computer. Jail Cell Opening Doors Bane's Drill Batcycle Good Detail CONS: Missiles don't fire properly until used a lot. Needs the Joker. Should include a vehicle for Robin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from MEGA COOL!!! This is the first batman set I have gotten, and I thrilled at the level of coolness that it has! now before you read further, you should know that I make my own lego capes from cloth( so if I say something about how the cape isn't big enough for batman to glide on, pay me no heed) PROS AND CONS: PROS: it's the batcave!!! a nice lift thingy that changes bruce wayne into batman robin( I put the cape and hood from obi-wan on him, and he looks like the robin from arkham city) a rack for gear the batcycle is better than it looks in the picture BANE ( he's my favorite villain!) Poison Ivy has leaves in her hair It comes with a grappling gun CONS: PRICE!!!!!! put alfred in it!!!! can we get more blue batmen? We need more black batmen!!!! VERDICT: GET IT!!! it's worth the price CommanderMax007, over and out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from COOLEST LIFT EVER!!!! This was my second superheroes set after the battle over goatham set and was brilliant. I think it was based on the 1960's tv show with the lift and the style of Batman. the lift is definitely the best part of the set as everyone that iv'e shown it to were so curious to see how it works. pros: Bane, Poison Ivy, batman, Robin and bruce wayne. lift. list of characters in comic doors that can let other batman vehicles in (such as both batcicles, drill and batmobile. bat computer. cons: smaller than the last one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Great Set! I have to say, this is the best set out of all the Super Heroes sets so far. Nice job on the minifigures, vehicles, everything! Pros: - nicely detailed minifigures -the batcycle and drill are nice additions - computer has excellent sticker detail - Even though a bit pricy, its worth getting

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Batcave is a Bosscave Well, to begin, I'll list pros and cons, then get to a bit of background, tips, and more thoughts. PROS: -Batman, Bruce Wayne, Robin, Poison Ivy, and Bane mini figures. -2 mini-vehicles (drill and bat-bike). -Nice Bat-computer, nice back opening doors, awesome batman outfit transfer tube, cool little holding cell. -Bat-gear wall! CONS: -No Alfred figure, such as in last Batcave (Batman's Butler) -Could use a third mini-room, such as the trophy room, or a vehicle platform, or perhaps the batmobile... -Slightly overpriced. If it brought one of the things I mentioned above, it'd be a perfect price. -Holding cell mechanism could be worked on. Now for more details. I can call myself a decent LEGO fan, but I can call also myself a huge Batman fan. I believe this is a great LEGO set, and is better than the last Batcave set. It has a nice design, cool little mechanical features, and even has an homage to the 1960's Batman show (th red phone...). This is a more modern-looking set than the old one, and has less of a gloomy atmosphere as well. It as 2 flick missile stations, some ladders, lights, a bridge, and stabilizing beams. This set's 2 mechanical parts work out nicely; there is a trap door and tunnel system that changes Bruce Wayne to Batman, and there are 2 doors that open and close (a bit more of a manual part of this set, there are no gears for the doors). However, the holding cell needs to have its roof taken off to put someone inside, and should really just have a door that can be open and closed. There is also the little problem with the stickers; if you were to put them on, the cell only fits for poison ivy...I modified the stickers, and now it could work for any villain (cut the temp. and condition stickers, leave out the plants). Overall, this set will satisfy both Batman and LEGO fans.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Batman doesn't live on the streets! EPIC. Goods: Minifigs are excellent, transformation chamber is unbelievabally awesome, Batcycle looks sleek, Bane's drill looks formidable, Bat-computer=great improvement, and REALLY nice transparent blue pieces adds special effect. Bads: One more minifig like...Alfred would've made my day. Note: Use tweezers for stickers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best design of a Bat Cave ever. This version of the Bat Cave is much better for people with less money or just prefer something smaller, more compac and easier for kids to handle. The other design of the original batcave is much to large for me. Only because I have so much lego, I have no room to put any more on my shelf. All my lego together fits on 3 entire Shelves. i recomend anyone with my problem to buy this lego set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! The new Lego batcave is AMAZING!!! It is the best 2011 set i have seen so far! I think the age range is just rite too and is geared around all ages! PROS: Elevator that transforms Bruce Wayne into Batman with the pull of stick! Batcomputer Bat-gear wall Doors under Batcomputer that slide open and close Prison cell with cool stickers of plants and Poison Ivy scan MInifigures (3 exclusive ones) Batcycle Bane"s Drill Bat logo (it's printed on the brick!) CONS: The 1 thing i did not like about this set is that you do not get Alfred, Bruce Wayne's butler (who knows he is Batman!) Overall this is an AMAZING set it isn't as big as the old 1 but it is just as good! It makes a great X-mas or your kid's birthday gift!
Date published: 2012-01-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The value IS there!!! This set comes with 5 AMAZING figures (3 of which, are exclusive to this set during wave 1). I have been playing with this set quite frequently, and I really enjoy the display look it has! There is also a feature in which Bruce Wayne can "change" into Batman! Overall, the Superheroes line is amazing together, but this set is the BOMB!!! The only thing I dislike about this and the series so far is that there is no remake of Mr. Freeze or The Penguin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The batcave..........Very amazing! I got this set, and i have to say, even though it only has half the amount of pieces of the original batcave, it's twice as good. The original had a really bland color scheme, but this new one has really nice looking clear blue elements that really bring this set together. The minifigs are also a big step-up from the old ones, as there is more detail and accuracy. This set also has a lot of play value, and the Bruce Wayne to Batman converter works a lot better than I thought it would. If you see this set in stores, I highly recommend picking it up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE BATCAVE The lego batcave is cool!! The batcave comes with five great minifigures and Bane’s drill tank. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for movie sets I was about to spend $700 on the old batcave!! But the new one is full of new surprising features, like the changing station from Bruce Wayne to Batman. And this one isn't all black,it has colors that represent other objects in the set to make them stand out. If you ask me, this is one of the best sets of this amazing era of Lego sets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Batcave is Back! I'm personally a fan of Batman, and was surprised to hear they were re-launching the theme in a DC-type way. Not having the old Batcave, I bought this to see what it was like. Altogether, the thing looks nice and does not fall apart, but the one thing I have to complain about is that it was not easy nor fun building. The thing wouldn't structurally support itself in the early stages of building the towers, as the posts were loose and wouldn't stay on. I love the details in this set, such as the Bat-Computer and Bat-Gear wall, which were really cool. Also nice was the Poison Ivy cell. I do miss the printed bricks, and although the Bat-Signal had a printed brick, I found there were too many stickers and some were even in spaces that could barely hold them. However, I do like the new minifigures in this set, such as the new Robin, Poison Ivy, and new black instead of blue Bane. My favorite part of the set was that Bruce Wayne could slide down the elevator to become Batman, which I found a neat trick. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to buy it. Very great set overall!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Set!! I received this set as a Christmas gift. When I saw the pictures of it, I was a bit skeptical... I thought it looked a bit wimpy, and not very good... well boy, was I wrong!! This set is incredible!! It was really fun to build, and it's got some awesome features!! I admit, the comic book is a bit lame, but I have NO complaints about anything else!! Very good job with the design, and I like it a lot!! (Just to add, I got a brick separator in this set... I was pretty psyched when I saw it, because I've always wanted one... well it doesn't say there is one included on the box, so I am wondering if it's like a chance thing... like the older darth vader, and white boba fett... but if so, it's pretty amazing that I got one!!) -Ad

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Return of The Bat...Cave! I have to say, this set is amazing! Coming with 5 of the most well detailed figures I have ever seen and with play experience that is out of this world. The old batcave may have been bigger but it's features weren't as detailed and I prefer Poison Ivy and Bane to Mr Freeze and The Penguin. The cell is well designed with good stickers and has a scan of Ivy's body on the side. It lacked some features that I think would have improved it such as the loss of the beloved Alfred minifigure which appeared in the 2006 set. The lift was the main feature, changing Bruce Wayne into Batman in style and class unlike the 2006 version. The computer is excellent giving a futuristic look to the batcave and features warnings of Bane's entrance and scans of the Batwing, Batmobile and Batcycle. The Batcycle was nice and I loved the detail and play experiences of Bane's Drill. It could have done with just a little bit more work but they have done a brilliant job on it and I would recommend it to all young and old! If you are a fan of the movie Batman and Robin, then the villains will most likely appeal to you.
