Born to Die

Lana Provides dark soothing songs that will find captivate and give you something different than what is being fed through as ‘Music’ today. With her beautiful voice accompanied by orchestra/studio sounds, you will find yourself putting this album on and sinking into the calming tracks. The album runs well having songs in an order that is easy to follow and tracks that sway into the next without disrupting the flow. Born to die is the first of Lana Del Rey in an official album and is definitely a buy worth the money and will not disappoint. Highly recommended.

I really like this highly-anticipated album from Lana Del Rey. I think her voice lends itself well to the ballads so Video Games, Blue Jeans, Summertime Sadness and the title track were standouts for me. Also found this was available on the free Music Booklets app for iPad. The app allows you to link the album to the digital booklet that accompanies the album so that it becomes the player so you can read the lyrics and look at the pics while playing the album. I recommend both!
