I seldom write nice reviews for an album but I really liked the songs of this cd. They are sung from the heart.

This is a really nice cover of the cd but there is so much more to the eye. When you listen to the songs you are taken away on a magicial healing ride and you will never be the same. It is very hard to put this cd down and not to listen to the songs over and over again. These four gentlemen, Tenors, are the most down to earth, humble and friendly guys that you will ever meet. They take the time to meet their fans and they listen to them. They didn't just think (I think we will do this song and that one and that one). They carefully chose their music and they worked tirelessly on these songs until they were perfect. Seeing them at Chapters Book Store was unbelievable. So much different than a concert. In that book store the music was perfect in every shape and form. Dont let this cd just sit on the shelf. Buy it and put it in and soak all the words in. Never before have I known a group of musicans so dedicated to perfection and bringing music that is so healing and uplifting. Thank You Tenors for yet another "Mesmerizing" cd filled with love. You truly gave this your all and it shows it was from the heart.

When the Tenors (formerly the Canadian Tenors) joined David Foster's new Verve Records, the release of this, their second studio album was much delayed but boy oh boy was it worth it! The production value is outstanding with a solo violin on the opening bars of "Amazing Grace" that'll have you weeping like a baby even before the vocals begin. With this release the evolution of the Tenors musical style continues to move far beyond the standard tenor group repertoire. Tracks range from covers of pop classics like "Forever Young" and "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word" to a truly jaw-dropping Nessun Dorma arranged for four voices. But the standout tracks may be those composed or co-written by the Tenors themselves including my favorite "World Stand Still". These great new melodies are arranged and delivered with a classical sensibility and vocal integrity that begs for a new genre label - Neo-Classical. I highly recommend it as a stocking stuffer for the classical music fan on your holiday gift list, because take it from me I, I love you but I don't need yet another compilation disc of Mozart's or Opera's greatest hits, I really don't!
