We know you are concerned about the differences between Canadian and US book prices. Here is what we are doing to address the situation.

For our customers who enjoy shopping in our Indigo, Chapters and Coles stores, as we continue to lower our prices we are also introducing many special promotional offers to help close the price gap.

• We buy and sell books in Canadian dollars. We do not profit from a strengthened Canadian dollar.

• A majority of our suppliers are based in the US. These suppliers add an extra charge, sometimes 10-15% more, on items shipped to Canada due to the extra cost of doing business in Canada like freight, minimum wage etc.
