Agricola is a strategy game. You are a farmer living in a wooden shack with your spouse and little else. On any given turn you make two moves; one for you and one for your spouse. Your moves consist of everyday farming tasks such as collecting clay, wood or stone, building fences, etc. Each action can be taken just once per turn, so it's important to prioritize your duties. The game is never the same twice - players are dealt only a limited number of cards at the beginning of the game, and Occupation Cards and Improvement Cards are all unique. The game-play strategies are endless, depending on your opponents’ actions and the cards that you hold. Agricola can be played without cards (family game) and can even be played solo. The game includes 300 cards, over 360 wooden components, 50 boards, 9 tokens and a scoring pad.
