    Loved it until my 6 year old started playing with them...
    She figured out that she can blow into the bottom of the egg to produce an ear splitting whistle. She then taught this lovely skill to my 3 year old. So they walked around our house blowing on them and laughing hysterically while the baby just looked confused and I tried to track down all six eggs so it would stop. The eggs are now hidden. They were super cute at the outset though.

    Can't Believe How Much he Loves It!
    I got these eggs for my son for Christmas. He was about 12-month old at the time, and he loved this gift way more than any of the more expensive ones. Now he is 15 months, and he STILL has a blast with them! At first he was unable to make the eggs squeak, but now he does, and he is even getting a hand on placing the eggs in the carton. One of the previous reviewers mentioned they did not understand why... and neither do I, but I am happy he is happy!

    Who knew???
    Seriously... who would have known that such a simply toy would bring such joy and fun to my two kids!! I have a 21 month old and a three year old and they both love playing with this toy - have since they were very little! It is inexpensive and just one of those "Who would have ever known...." kind of toys. Highly recommended! PS - the bottom of each egg has a shape that coordinates to its place. Once "cracked" open (it doesn't make a cracking noise) the eggs squeak (when pressed) and sound just like little baby chicks!

    Your kids will love it...
    As a parent, I never fully understood how much excitement and joy kids get out of some of the toys these days, but my son absolutely had a blast with this one. It seems so simple, just a carton of eggs, but your child must learn to not only fit the top shell onto the bottom, but match the faces to the chicks inside, and also fit the right shapes into the carton. The chicks also squeak.

    Eggsellent gift
    I've bought these a few times for 1st birthday gifts and they are ALWAYS a big hit. Children love to open and close the carton and "crack" open the eggs. They are versatile and fun for kids age 9 months - 3 years.

    This was bought for our first child 17 years ago and it was much loved by all her little brothers. We recently moved and lost it so the first thing we did was reorder for our 6 month old...who loves it too.

    A Big Favourite!
    My child has been playing with this toy well before the age of 12 months. When you press down on the eggs they squeak and she just loves having the box opened for her to "discover" the eggs. This is a toy that will grow with your child - it has several activities: a match the shape puzzle a match the face puzzle it squeaks and it can be used in pretend play
