I wasn't sure that my 3.5 year old son would be able to operate the Leapster TV since I myself found it awkward. He plays independently without a problem. We have both the Leapster TV and the Leapster 2 handheld and he can switch back and forth even though the controls are different. I really like that it uses the same games as the Leapster 2. The graphics are not fabulous on a 27 inch tv, but my son doesn't seem to mind. He usually plays the Thomas or Cars games on it.

This interactive video game unit for television includes a removable controller, storage space for up to six cartridges, a set of cables for connecting the unit to a television and a Dora the Explorer game cartridge. The controller has an oversized yellow joystick, large red and blue “A” and “B” buttons, and a touch screen with a stylus.
