    Absolutely Satisfied !

My daughter enjoyed playing with this toy when she was 18 months old. Now, as she is growing, she is learning to explore it more. Keeps her engaged and she even names the different shapes.

    Fun While Learning

The Shape Sorting Cube by Melissa & Doug makes learning shapes fun for young minds. Little fingers can easily pick up the different shapes and put them into the right cutout.

Great toy to teach kids different shapes and how each one goes in a different spot. Great for the little ones . Teaches them to think.

I don't like how the lid doesn't stay on tightly. You put a shape in, then move it around to put other shapes in and the lid falls off. I realize it's for ease of use for the child in order to get the shapes out, but I don't like it. Also, once you've got most of the shapes in, the last remaining ones don't fall in nicely. They can get stuck if the shapes inside are blocking the hole. You have to tip it to make room, then the lid falls off again.

    Best shape sorter!

My kids, (1 and 3) are fascinated with shape sorter toys. We have had two different plastic ones in the past and they got so much use, they eventually broke. This one is fantastic. My kids love the bright colors and I love that it is a quality wood toy that will last. My 3 year old can do this with ease but still enjoys 'helping' his little sister put the shapes in.
I would definitely recommend this toy!

    Good toy but bad piece

The piece I got was not polished well. I fear the splinter could hurt my child so I had to return it. Wish the wooden toys are made with some care.

This toy is a must-have for curious little fingers. Made of sturdy wood, children learn shapes, colours and manual dexterity through sorting. Unlike so many of the new-fangled battery operated toys, the child is in charge of what happens. Each time they play, it is different. My three 20 month-old boys love this shape sorting cube so much that I had to buy it in triplicate. You couldn't ask for a more perfect toy.

    My Favorite Toy

I loved this toy as a child and I look forward to watching my children discover it. The skills that it builds are practical. Once the motor skills are developed, accuracy and memory are tested. It is still a thrill for me to test my speed. I guess I am still a kid at heart.

    Super Fantastic

Not only is this the perfect toy to put on display for the first few months of my childs life (each wall of his room is one of these colours, as well as his crib is the natural wood colour) , but I cannot wait for him to experience the learning aspect of it as well. It is easy to clean, sturdy enough not to tip over easily while he is playing with it, and safe for him to use (no chance of splinters here). I am enerting this not only because I love this item , but I also happen to see in your last issue of Indulge that just by sending in my review, I would be entered in the contest to win $1000 gift card. Thanks again for selling such great toys.

    Shaping Minds

A little more difficult than the 'old fashion' shape sorter, but absolutely great. My daughter spent prolonged periods of time playing with it since the slightly more difficult aspect of it kept her interested in the toy as she grew older. Any toy that makes a child think 'outside of the box' is worth buying.

This toy is typical of the shape sorters that require too many skills and adult participation. The game ends when all the shapes are in the box and the box needs to be opened up to start again. If the shapes slid out of the box once they were inserted the game would only be about shape sorting and go on and on without interruption.

This shape sorting cube is similar to the one I played with as a toddler, but it's wooden and includes more shapes. My neice enjoys using it and has already added several geometric terms to her vocabulary :) I highly recommend this toy!

I have been looking for a puzzle toy like this for my son. I really like that it's make out of wood. There's so many different pieces and it looks quite challenging than other puzzles pieces I have looked at. My son is not ready for this toy but he will soon have the motor skills required for this toy.
