I picked this up to play with my kids (something fun, light, that we could pick up/put down without getting too involved in a storyline). I am still learning how to use the Wii console, so with needing to click only 2 buttons, this was a nice warm-up game. Having said that, though the mini-games are quick and fun, it is a bit more challenging to get a 'perfect' score on them. We're still working at it! I like the music--and yes, you really do get 'into' the beat in order to master the mini-games. I play this game with my 7.5 & 3.5 year olds, and the simple/bright graphics and catchy music really get them going. I like the fact it is non-violent. (Unless you count a mandrill drilling balls at your knees in the first game, 'violent'. My kids thought it was hilarious.) I have not completed the game yet, but we don't play it competitively so I'm happy to take my time and laugh at the monkeys (and there are lots of them)! I do have one crit, though -- I wish that as you progressed through the levels you got to use more of the Wii controls. It does seem a bit limited with just the two buttons (when I compare it to the Just Dance series, for example, where you move your entire body). Then again, that's a different series. :)
