Advice on prep is good
You've got to be very experienced like him have before you can get the meals done in 15 mins. I don't follow exactly each and every recipe as I may not have that particular herb or food, but the knowledge he shares is useful for preparing most food. I like Jamie Oliver's recipes in general and I like these too.

I love Jamie Oliver and am a long time supporter of his work. I greatly enjoy this book (1) because it makes really tasty meals, (2) it doesn't take a long time to prepare them, and (3) I can watch the show with the recipe out so I understand exactly what I need to do.
I love with recipes come with a video. Every chef has a different way of talking or a different word to describe a method that they use. A video/show helps to communicate the message to the audience better and the book makes sure that the memory of the show stays with you when you do start to cook.
If you are a busy mother, an over-worked father, or a lazy university student (me) then this book helps you to be in and out of the kitchen quickly and with a hot meal on your plate (and maybe some leftovers for tomorrow).

good recipes, incomprehensible instructions
So far the recipes have turned out great, and I would make them again, but following the instructions is extremely frustrating. Dozens of instructions are crammed into one step in order to rush through the cooking and while this may look easy on TV it is much more difficult to follow along through a book.

I was skeptical that some of the recipes would take 16 minutes to make from start to finish but it was close. First time it may take more than 15 minutes because this was a new recipe but next time it will be close. Great array of different cuisines
