Rated 1 out of 5 by from Less than stellar! Many of us have found ourselves changing careers, mid-career, due to the economy. The "interview game" has changed considerably for those of us who have been with our previous employers for any length of time. I grabbed this book to brush up on "behavioural event" style interviewing, aka "competency based" interviewing. Unfortunately this book lacks the punch that any decent interviewer will be looking for. It is as though the author began with the number in mind, rather than attempting to go for quality. The answers given are extremely short, most often lack key words that employers are looking for, and provide no reasoning as to why one should answer in the manner suggested. It also occurs to me that the answers given would be suitable for entry level jobs, but the answers are unacceptable for someone seeking management opportunities. During my search I came across a few other books of a similar nature - including one that gave reasoning to the suggested answers, as well as things to avoid when answering specific questions. Unfortunately I don't recall the name, but it would have been the better choice.
