about

"Wickedly fun!"
--Romantic Times

"Clever writing, a high sensuality factor and an unfettered imagination..."
--Publishers Weekly

Jazz can't decide whether to scorch him with a fireball or jump into bed with him.

Jasmine Tremaine, a witch who can't stay out of trouble.

Nikolai Gregorivich, a drop-dead gorgeous vampire cop on the trail of a serial killer.

The sizzling love affair between Jazz and Nick has been off-again, on-again-for about 300 years. Mostly off, lately. But now Nick needs Jazz's help, and while Jazz and Nick try to figure out their own hearts and resist their ever-increasing attraction, they must steer clear of a maniacal killer with super-supernatural powers. They are surrounded by a hilarious cast of oddball paranormal characters, including Irma, the chain-smoking ghost who haunts Jazz's sports car, Dweezil, her ghoul of a boss, and Fluff and Puff, a pair of bunny slippers with sharp teeth and short tempers (watch your ankles)!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun and sexy series! The year 1313, twelve witches are expelled from school, and sent out into the human world to fend for themselves. They are on probation for 100 years. If they behave themselves they will be admitted back into the witch community. 700 years later they are still looking out for each other, and still on probation. Good thing that they have adapted well! Jazz meets up with vampire and ex-boyfriend Nick. They have had an off and on relationship for the last couple hundred years or so. Nick needs help to find missing vampires, and Jazz tells him no, with the help of a couple of fireballs to back her up. The last time she saw Nick he left her in jail with a ticked off were. Jazz will not forgive this time! Long ago Jazz was involved with a cretin of a man. After one specific evening Jazz prefers to not remember Clive except that she killed him. Clive managed to take over the body of his son right before his death and is reaching to Jazz from the great beyond. To have that kind of power he must being tapping into someone magic. Maybe that is were all the missing vamps are ending up. Jazz and Nick will have to work together before Clive kills all the vamps and Jazz. After all with no more vamps to feed on, he will have to start on the rest of the magical community. With the help of Irma, the ghost that resides in Jazz’s 1950’s convertible, Jazz and Nick sneak into Clive’s property. Unfortunately Clive figures out that the couple are there. First book in the series, and it was hot, sexy and fun. I love Fluff and Puff the eat-anything, and maybe anyone, slippers. Irma is so much fun as the suicidal ghost that Jazz can’t un-hex. Even Jazz’s sex toy collecting boss is laugh out loud fun. Wisdom has so many characters that Jazz interacts with that are great! Oh and the romance with Jazz and Nick, give me more! Jazz has a wicked temper and a hotter love life.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Witches With Attitude If you are a fan of MaryJanice Davidson, Linda Winsom's Hex Series is for you! Jazz is a Witch who's been around for over 700 years and has been banished from the Witches Council for Hexing someone as a Teen. Not only is Jazz full of attitude, she's in and out of love with a Vampire!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Funny, Sexy and Witty I really liked this book is had a great story line, funny, sexy and witty characters. Her slippers Fluff and Puff and her cars ghost Norma were a great addition to a good book. In most paranormal novels the main characters are beyond wealthy and in this one they have to work to live, which I find odd but different in a good way. Linda Wisdom is a great writer and I hope to see more books like this one.
