Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems good Aside from the non-stop photos of herself, I like the actual food ideas that she has. I purchased this book recently, and can't wait to try more of her ideas. (So far, I've just tried making a smoothie). I have another book, put out by Cafe Gratitude a raw rest. in SF. It'll be interesting to compare these two books. Overall, I'm excited to have access to so many new raw recipes. :) I wish the book was a bit more clear about if I have to soak everything before using ingredients? Like vanilla beans, and raw cashews, etc... maybe I missed it and need to only spend more time reading this book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicious Recipes! The salad recipes in this book are to die for!!! The ingredients in the dressings blend wonderfully well, making the salad greens tasty. But that's not all, Phyo shares her story and her way of life in a manner that makes you want to try and live just as environmentally friendly as raw living does. The presentation of this book encourages the simple flare of the food and, in my opinion, returning back to the basics. There are many pictures of Phyo herself, but I feel that they show those who read it how she lives and that it is not impossible to make raw living an everyday choice. And I believe that she is right. The recipes that I have tried are no more difficult to prepare than a standard dinner with all of the trimmings. And the best part is that they are do not fill you up to the point of wanting to sleep, but just the opposite - I find the dishes very energizing. This is a beautifully made up a book with wonderful information and even better recipes!
