I've been Anna Olson's fan for a long time and used to just print her recipes off the internet, so it was very nice to have it all in one book. Most of the desserts have pictures and the directions are straightforward. A must have staple!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A baking bible This is one of my new "go-to" baking books both for recipes and helpful hints. As usual, Anna Olson's take on baking is down-to-earth and her recipes are mouth-watering. From simple to difficult, this book has everything. This is the first book where I think I may make every recipe in it!

Rated out of 5 by from A keeper! (and I tend to be hard to convince.) Anna Olson has put together a great book. Some great tips in the beginning on modern methods and ingredients. The food styling and page layout (graphics too) are lovely and most recipes are truly "timeless" in the sense that you don't need to hunt for obsure ingredients. The chocolate layer cake is moist and tender...divine paired with the fudge frosting (pic soon). I predict that this book will keep me busy for a long time.
