Rated 5 out of 5 by from Begin with this book! I learned to play bridge using Barbara Seagram's Beginning Bridge. I found the book very easy to follow, and well paced. In each chapter there is a bit about bidding and a bit about playing, but not too much that it is overwhelming. There are quizzes that reinforce you every step of the way. I found it easy to move from this book to her more advanced books, 25 Conventions You Should Know and Planning the Play of a Bridge Hand. There is even an accompanying deck of cards so that you can play out the hands on your own. Everyone has a unique way to teach bridge, and learning the Seagram way has made it easy for me to advance.
