Even social players are usually keen to add a few choice gadgets to their bidding arsenal. Here 25 basic conventions and treatments are carefully explained, and the reader is shown how they can fit into standard bidding methods. Each section ends with a summary chart as well as a self-quiz to ensure that the concepts are understood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 25 Bridge Conventions You Should Know This book is brief, yet concise. Because of online Bridge, the need to know these conventions is crutcial. Even if you don't use them all the time you still need to know them because of the frequent change of partners when playing online. I'm ordering 2 books for my bridge partners in Saskatchewan so that we are all "on track".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 25 Bridge Conventions You Should Know A "Numero Uno" must read for bridge players who want to learn or simply brush up on the most used bidding conventions in Bridge. With the number of Bridge Game sites available on the Internet, it is becoming increasingly important for all to become versatile in the knowledge of the game if they are to enjoy (and be enjoyed as a Bridge partner) playing with Bridge afficionados from around the world. The Book is precise, to the point, and well worth the price. I am ordering a 2nd copy because my "Best Friend" filched mine. (:> ) LEARN, BRUSH-UP, ENJOY, AND TREASURE THIS EXCELLENT REFERENCE.
