Now there's a strange, foreign pulse coursing through her, and no matter what she does, she can't stop thinking about Roman-and longing for his touch. As she struggles to resist the fiery attraction threatening to consume her, Roman is more than willing to take advantage of her weakened state.and Ever edges closer and closer to surrender.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Alright When I first started the Immortal series I really enjoyed the characters and the way the story of Ever and Damen developed, but the books have been going a bit down hill for me. I feel the story is being dragged on, however there are some twists that kept me interested in the next installment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from In The Middle Here I found that the series isn't up to most expectations, but I finish what I start as long as it holds purpose. Overall, I'm in between liking it and hating it completely. What I liked was the history between Ever and Jude. Jude seems like a cool guy, and whenever there's a cool guy it's hard to hate their character. I also enjoyed the insight on Roman's past. Made me have so much pity for him, well actually most characters have had terrible pasts. What I didn't like though was the problem with Haven. That was number one hate. I thought it would have been better if Haven was just killed off. I never liked her all that much, even when she was normal. She always brought the trouble and kept getting in the way. From the first novel I found her okay, but ever since she met Drina I instantly felt a spark of disdain for her character. Also, the continous mention of the "dark flame" was kind of annoying too. I get it, this book is more of an internal struggle than an outward struggle. But highlighting Ever's struggles most of the time made me feel resentful. I like Ever, but shoving all her mistakes in my face can make someone change their mind.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ehh I haven't read this book yet. I found the series interesting so far, and i read a lot. But the book before this sort of lost my interest for a while and took me longer than usual. At the end though, i liked it, thats what usually happens to slow books. I was just wondering if i should get this book. I usually HAVE to finish a series i started no matter how slow, but would this be a waste of time and money?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Boring Boring Boring. The title says it all, this series is becoming boring. It's the 4th book in the series and its always lingering on and on about the search for the "antidote". Seriously, this series is in need of another plot other than just finding the antidote. And this isn't even The last book! The " Dark Flame " that we're talking about is actually the one within Ever, and with all the mistakes she makes, well, it's all feeding it. Honestly, The only reason i'm still reading this series is because i started it and i finish what i start.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing So, I was very unhappy after finishing this book. This was definitly not one of my favorites in the series. In fact, it felt like a waste of time. I liked the first two books, but it seems the story has kind of gone downhill since then. I found this to be very boring and it has me thinking whether or not I want to finsih the series. I probably will.... so I'm hoping it will get better!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from .........It was okay I love the series, own all the books so far, but I was kind of disappointed. I hope that I can convince myself to purchase the future books, but this one-I felt- was more of a character sketch. It was basically about all the inner "turmoil" that she was going through. And I wish to say that some things were resolved, which they were, but it kind of felt in a way like a filler book in a series. I think the author just wrote the book so that she can say that she has a series of seven books. The other books were good, but this one did not have the fun teen romance that swept me away in the beginning. I was not impressed, and hope the sequel will be better.....

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not great ever since i read the first novel in this series ive fallen in love with the characters and their relationships. i love damen and ever togther and i really think the author is streching out the whole thing with the antidote and Roman i understand that its creating suspeense but i really think its been going on for 3 books now and i think its starting to get boring, however alyson noel is one of my favorite authors and im sure Night star will be better and hopefully it will help to provide some sort of finality to this problem between Ever and Damen. in this book i liked **spoliers*** Ava came back and proved herself to ever and i liked the intense romantic scences with Roman and EVer because the book was lacking alot of romance between Ever and damen i also liked the new role Jude plays in the novel :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best series Out of many series that I had read. Honestly this one would be great for many teens out there to read. It has that edge to it making you wander "oh my god, what is Damen going to do next?" or as in the first book Evermore "Will Drina kill Ever, or is Ever a Immortal like Damen and Drina?" Now I can not wait for this book to come out. It's killing me wandering what will happen next.
