In Dreena Burton's first two bestselling vegan cookbooks, The Everyday Vegan and Vive le Vegan!, she offered a dazzling array of healthy, animal-free recipes, many of which are based ont her experience as a mother of two young girls she and her husband are raising as vegans. Dreena also maintains an active blog (vivelevegan.blogspot.com) and website (everydayvegan.com) and and has cultivated an enthusiastic audience for her nutritious recipes.

In this, her third cookbook, Dreena turns her attention to celebratory food- imaginative, colourful, and delectable vegan fare perfect for all kinds of events, from romantic meals to dinner parties to casual potlucks.

Many of the recipes are appropriate for everyday meals as well. The book includes over 150 recipes and 16 full-color photographs, as well as meal plans and cooking notes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely Worth Celebrating! I received my copy of ED&BV about a week before Christmas and used it right away and almost everyday since. I'm a foodie but new to veganism and I felt at ease with this cookbook and never felt I was lacking anything. Dreena is my kind of cook. The BEST recipe ever is the Macadamia Maple Butter Cream, this recipe alone makes the book worth every penny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous I really enjoyed Dreena's third book. All the recipes that I have tried have been delicious. I have never had a recipe from this book that I didn't like. Her writing is fun to read and she uses fairly simple ingredients that you either will already have in the house or are easy to find in the grocery store. I also recomend her second book Vive Le Vegan, it is probably my favourite recipe book ever!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I was so excited to receive my copy of Dreena's new book. I have made quite a few recipes so far, and they are all fabulous! The recipes are simple and delicious. Choosing what to make for dinner is not a chore with this great book!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding! I recieved my copy of Eat, Drink, and Be Vegan about a week ago, and I've already made about a dozen fabulous recipes. The dishes all turned out so well, my husband, children and even non-vegan friends all loved them! The only problem is choosing which recipe to try next.. there are so many great ones in this book. And as a busy (and 8 months pregnant!) mother of 2 children, I love how these recipes are easy, fast to make, and are healthy for the whole family. I highly recommend this book. If you haven't already, visit Dreena's blog.. or email her directly.. she's always available to help if you're having trouble with a recipe, or are unsure about an ingredient.
