Rated 5 out of 5 by from mother My daughter loves all the Franklin books, but she says that Franklin Goes to School is her favorite. I'm sure that as she gets ready to start school that this book will remain a favorite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Franklin Goes to MY school As a teacher of primary students, I know from experience that the very first day of school can be scary. Students and teachers alike can feel the very same butterflies - or "frogs" - in the tummy that Franklin does. I read this story to my students last September and the expressions of fear, apprehension and uncertainty were soon replaced by broad smiles and laughter that can only be delivered by this favourite turtle. Franklin opened the doors for us to comfortably discuss our thoughts and fears prior to that very moment. Students identified with Franklin's inhibitions and they too found out that school can be a fun place to be! I know Franklin will definitely join me again this September and I am confident he will once again help to put our fears to rest!

From Our Editors

Franklin's stomach is jumping. It's the first day of school, and he wishes he could write numbers like Rabbit, or read like Beaver. His tummy feels full of jumping frogs! But soon, Franklin realizes how fun school can be. It's going to be a wonderful first day! Part of the popular children's series, Franklin Goes to School helps children relieve first-day school jitters.
