Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "YAWN!" My son got this book about a year ago as a spontaneous purchase. He's got a special interest in machines, so I figured it would be an okay book. I was very pleasantly surprised at how charming and well written it is. I didn't mind reading it with him every night for four months straight! Now he's almost 4 and can read the book mostly on his own. I'm looking forward to having him read it to his little sister.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our 3 year old LOVES this Great writing. Great illustration. We must have read this a hundred times. It's helped our three year old (and us!) to learn the names of all the different construction vehicles. He even recreates the book with his toy trucks. Definitely a great addition to a pre-schooler's library.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved this book! I bought this book for my grandson who is obsessed with big machines! He's going to love that they talk and work hard and get tired and have to quit for the night. He'll soon be able to read along with this one - I just know it will be one of his favorites!

He is a construction worker, so it was the perfect way for them to bond and for our son to learn what his Daddy does. It's quite accurate, very cute story and one we will read for a long time! I highly recommend this book.
