Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Book I've read every book on self-publishing that I can find. Of all of them, this is by far the best of the bunch - straightforward, no nonsense approach that takes you through the process step by step. I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two Seasoned Experts Share the Secrets to Success Crook and Wise have given us an excellent outline of all the steps that lead to a successful venture in writing and publishing your own book. Speaking from their own extensive experience, they walk us through the whole process, giving clear and valuable insight into the publishing industry and how you can become part of it. If you only buy one book about self-publishing, this is the one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It Really Works I purchased this book as I was interested in self-publishing. The book was my bible, easy to read and understand, current information, with the authors not assuming that you knew anything about self-publishing. I followed this book carefully, chapter by chapter, page by page, and to cut a long story short, my book 'Business For Beginners' was published in October 1998, using all the information and guidelines that Nancy Wise and Marion Crook set out. My book is selling well, paid for itself in a couple of months, is going into reprint and is distributed nationally - by Sandhill Book Marketing Ltd. If you are thinking of self-publishing, this is the ONLY book to read. It's hard work, just as the book advises, but very rewarding. I consider this book the best one in Canada on this subject.
