Rated 5 out of 5 by from "A Howl for a Highlander" by Terry Spear. Book 10 in the Heart of the Wolf series. Book 2 in the Highland Wolf series (series within the Heart of the Wolf series). I read this book in October 2013. This was my review. LOVED LOVED LOVED this book!! Who wouldn't love a romantic island getaway? If you don't mind that someone is trying to kill you.... Duncan is on the hunt for the man that stole his pack's money. He has traveled from Scotland to the Cayman Islands and nothing will distract him from his mission. But when he sees a beautiful, alone, female wolf in the airport, he is immediately drawn to her. Shelley is not on vacation in the Cayman Islands. She is there doing her job, studying the plants so she can teach her students all about them when she returns home to Texas. As a werewolf, she's also hoping to discover a plant that will help newly turned werewolves control their shifting. Unfortunately, the University that gave her her grant no longer has the money and now she can't afford to stay in the villa she's rented. So when Duncan shows up on her doorstep, she makes a deal with him for lodging at the villa, if he pays for half. So fun. So descriptive. So much chemistry between Duncan and Shelley! The plot of this story reads so smoothly with just enough twists and turns to keep it exciting. Very well written. Can't wait to read the next installment!
