Dreaming of fields of wheat, wealth and security, Lesia looks forward to a life in Canada, free from poverty and rumours of war. But the 160 acres of hardscrabble prairie look nothing like the wheat fields of her dreams. And even though there is no fighting in her new country, the First World War follows them there.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lesia's Dream I found this book Lesia Dream very very very very very dry & boring there was hardly any action in the book. The only good part of the book was the ending. THATS ALL. I would recommend this book for an older person who likes a slow moving book. Im 100 % sure that you will not miss any parts or the book !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from quite eye opening I read this one up quite quickly, it kept me hooked till the end. I even underlined a few lines that I'd like to remember. This little girl sure puts me to shame when it comes to drive and determination. A few things that the author hinted at I thought would be cleared up but really enjoyable.
