Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous! Melody has captured a lot of life's happy moments and even not so happy ones and she used poetry as a means so others can relate to them! This could be an easy read for some but Melody's work delves into people's experiences in life which makes you want to read more and more of it and over and over again, wanting to get a feel for every word she describes life as, like it is your own that you are reading. You will ache when she ached, you will cry when she cried...amazing work! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences, about time for another one?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from mixed emotions This charming book of personal life experiences and the authors way of touching on my own feelings was astonishing in some emotional growth and realizations for myself. Melody was very explicit in her feelings of her experiences in life that either held her back at times or moved her forward. I could relate to the events of her emotional state in some of her poems[ it was like reaching out and feeling my own pain!!!! thank you Melody for yr contribution to WOMEN!!! and yr journey in your life.I have passed this book to some friends and all have been inspired in some form.

Once I opened it, I couldn’t stop reading the diary of a woman whos life was filled with so much emotion as young as a child, through her teenage years, and as woman keeping true to her beliefs. Her stories are compelling, and keep you reading as you are pulled into her world
