Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best cookbook ever! When I was visiting my daughter, she had made Marla's Maple Pork and it was so delicious. I also made a few recipes from the book and I was sold. When I got back to Winnipeg, I had to buy it. I went to Chapters and asked the salesclerk where I could find it, she immediately said "I'll go get it for you!". We started talking about the recipes in this recipe book. I paid a bit more for it but so worth it. I'm buying one for my son and his girlfriend for Christmas and I hope they'll love it as much as I do.

I have made about 40+ recipes from both books combined and I have never been disappointed. I have never had an experience like this with any set of cookbooks. A must buy for any health conscious foodie.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ahhhhmazing!!!!! This is not just another cookbook! This will quickly become your kitchen bible! The recipes are healthy, fun and everything I have tried has been fabulous! The Morrocan Stew was to die for and I had a ton of compliments. The simple salmon with dill sauce - unbelievable! The best part......HEALTHY! New takes on old favorites - from butter chicken, pizza to lasagna! This is one cookbook that needs to be in your kitchen.

I previously bought the original Looney Spoons as well as the Crazy Plates, and this one tops the cake (lol, no pun intended). This book has a lot of amazing recipes, which I've tried a lot of them already and they were all hits, and they're all health conscious...something I can definitely use. A lot of the recipes have ingredients that I either had on hand or that were easy to find. Great photos and tips too! It's a "must" for your collection!

Not only do I love the calorie reduced, flavor injected and ramped up nutrition in these recipies, I love the humor as a change from the same old same old cookbooks. Its great to read the other reviewers sharing their favorites to try and I love Roast Feast, Marla's Maple Pork, Roasted beets, Britney Spears [Asparagus], Crab & Corn Chowder, Tuna Salad & Corn, Black Bean & Mango Fandango.

I used to keep their last book, Eat Shrink & Be Merry open in my recipe book holder and have used a LOT of those recipes. I'm loving the new book as well and I'm still enjoying reading the tips and new recipes. This one is too large to keep open in the holder but I'm not complaining! I love their wit, nutrition information and I highly recommend it!

Above all else, the recipes are consistently good! I love the roasted vegetable soup with mini meatballs, the scones, the roasted sweet potatoes with ginger and I'm glad to see some of my old favorites - Marla's Maple Pork is a staple in our home!
