Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent, quick read. This was an enthralling read for me. I stayed up late to finish it. The writer focused on a part of her life as a survivor with those closest to her who helped her live through these four years. This is not a book filled with facts but with feelings that the reader truly experiences.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! I truly enjoyed this book, it is one that you don't want to put down. Heartbreaking and almost unbelievable the hardships, this poor woman and her fellow prisoners experienced. How is it possible that a human could treat others with such disrespect and horror.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "A superb and sensitive book!" Just finished reading Susan Papp's book... it was awesomely riveting and emotionally elevating in all sense of the word. The "love-story" between two individuals-- so far apart-- caused by social, religious and political laws --yet, interwoven through real historic time in a caring sensitive manner is the real quality of this book. Amazingly beautiful!
