Rated 2 out of 5 by from Persuasion I found the book a little long and to much repetition, the principles were well though out, but the author still is looking at the shadow of her younger life, with a little fear and trepidation. A lot of the principal's I have used myself while directing a work force.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worthy information that for once is credible Anyone who has seen the dragons den knows that Arlene pulls no punches. The fact that she has succeeded before writing this book gives the information contained a lot more credit. Whilst its weakness is that it draws from Arlene's experience (and nothing else), that is also its strength. In a nut shell, good read, and if you don't walk away with something you can use from it, I would be very surprised. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Is 'Persuasion' a bad word? Arlene Dickinson (from Dragon's Den) doesn't think so. Her book "Persuasion: A New Approach to Changing Minds" explores the nature of "Ethical Persuasion" - where persuasion is equated with connection and caring - just the way I see it. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoyed every moment I think it's a great book - easy to read, full of good "illustrated" tips on negotiation (well, persuasion) techniques. I personally like Arlene's approach to be authentic and not to sell your soul to get a deal. And of course hairdressers conference episode made me laugh. To sum up: I would recommend this book for reading, probably everyone could pick up a couple of great tips and learn some new wisdom.
