Rated 5 out of 5 by from When you've tried it all and nothing works for you - this will. The Plan helps you sort out your own reactions to food - chemically speaking. What worked for me in my 20s, 30s and even 40s was no longer working for me in my 50s and I was desperate, overweight, unhappy, lethargic and in pain. I was gaining weight on a program that I had previously lost weight on! The Plan has helped me figure out some foods that most consider healthy, like salmon and oatmeal and even green beans, that I react to and gain weight on!!! Everyone is different but it's information I needed in order to get control of my weight and life. It does take some time in the kitchen as you are eating real food that needs prep, but it gets easier when you get the hang of it. There is a shopping list on their web site and contact them if you're having issues, there is also a FAQ. I have found them to be wonderful, supportive and encouraging. Oh, and I've lost 21 lb in 24 days - not too shabby - I'm grinning!!!

Rated out of 5 by from This is such a great book - definately a life changer. There are suppliments to the book (like a shopping list, alternate menus) on the authors website, but this is a fantastic starting point. I think i've bought about 6 copies so far, handing them out to family and friends. My advice is to stick to the 20 days, find out what foods your body likes, and then incorporate that into real life. Prob one of the best "diet" plans i've seen.

Rated out of 5 by from The one good thing I have to say about this book is that I did lose weight during the 20 days. I found the 20 days to be the longest 20 days of my life. There is a lot of prep work needed each day and you have to constantly flip back and forth to see what you can eat each day and what to prepare for the next day. In addition, it would have been helpful if the author had included a shopping list of what groceries would be needed for each week. I found this diet very time consuming to go through.; I found that I had to review a whole week and then go to the recipes to see what would be needed for groceries. And finally, If you likesalads this is the diet for you.
