Rated 3 out of 5 by from Insight into TMI This companion novel is written in short essays by various authors and of course Cassandra Clare. It allows the reader to learn more about The Mortal Instruments world and provides insights into the authors' opinions and perspectives of our favourite characters. Not necessary to understanding the series however, I'll take any extra information I can get. If you agree, then check this one out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Riding the coat-tails of the series I made it through few pages and I'm truly disappointed. While I enjoyed the series this is a shameless waste of paper and desperate attempt to make few extra bucks.
