As the only female Seminus demon ever born, master assassin Sinead Donnelly is used to being treated like an outcast. She spent decades enslaved, and now vows she'll die before she'll relinquish her freedom again. Then Sin's innate ability to kill her enemies goes awry: She creates a lethal new werewolf virus that sparks a firestorm of panic and violence.
Half-werewolf, half-vampire Conall Dearghul is charged with bringing in Sin to face punishment for the plague. And she's no stranger: He's bound to her by blood, and the one sexual encounter they shared has left him hungering for her raw sensuality. Worse, Sin is the underworld's most wanted and Con soon learns he's the only one who can help her . . . and that saving her life might mean sacrificing his own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Great Way To End A Series Book five in the Demonica series was great I really enjoyed this last installment and I think it was great that Sin got a book I mean I was surprised of how she came into the series and I always liked her character even though she could sometimes be a b@#$h I still think she's great. I loved the storyline I thought it was a nice twist from the other books in the series and the dialogue had me laughing a few times. Something else I LOVED was the family interactions they were really hilarious. If you have not read this series I highy recommend it, it was a great series. :0)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best for Last If you haven't tried Ione's wickedly hot Demonica series, what the heck are you waiting for? This series has it all. Laughs, action and heat. I believe that Sin Undone is meant to be the last book in the series (but there is a spin off series coming next) and I think Ione may have saved the the best for last. When we last saw Sin, she'd taken on the heavy burden as Master of the Assassin's den in order to spare her brother's lover Idess from the job. Now Sin is basically trapped because she has a huge target painted on her back every time she leaves the safety of the den. It seems that everyone wants her job and her own assassins wouldn't hesitate to put Sin out of her misery at the first opportunity (backstabbing assassins, no surprise really). Sin also has just about everyone else in the underworld community gunning for her ever since she accidentally created the deadly virus that is now running rampant through the warg (werewolf) population. Con, a dhampire (a warg/vampire cross) paramedic at Underworld General Hospital, and Sin had a rather steamy encounter in the supply closet (boy that closet sees a lot of action) but now would rather have nothing to do with one another. Luckily for us, circumstances just keep throwing the two together and boy, does the sexual chemistry really zing between them. Ione also gives lots of 'screen time' to Sin's brothers and I enjoyed reading Sin's struggle to accept her family. All in all, it was a very fun read. A great end to the series. 2011-011

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in the Series! This book is all about family and learning to let go, to trust and love. Larissa Ione does such an incredible job with this storyline and series on a whole. The passion and fireworks between Sinead and Conall is hot! I loved how all the other characters from previous books tied in and yet didn't take away from Sin and Con's story. Highly Recommended. If just starting this series, start with book 1 - Pleasure Unbound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Now THAT's How You End a Series! Picking up where “Ecstasy Unveiled” leaves off, “Sin Undone” follows Sinead Donnelly and her trials and tribulations while dealing with a little issue that occurred in the previous book. You see, Sin is a Seminus Demon (a type of Incubus). She is half human and the only female Seminus Demon in existence. Every Seminus Demon has a ‘gift’. Shade can heal. Lore can kill. Sin’s ‘gift’ allows her to infect someone with a disease that will kill and kill quickly (if she so desires). It’s quite a handy gift for a master assassin like herself, wouldn’t you say? But Sin has inadvertently started a plague that is quickly wiping out the Warg community. Oopsies! Understandably so, everybody wants a piece of her. But, it seems she is also the key to finding a cure, or at least finding a vaccine that will prevent the spread of the infection. Enter Conall Dearghul. Con is a dhampire – half vampire, half werewolf. He has contracted the disease, yet it is not deadly to his system yet. In order to heal and to prevent the infection from killing him, he must drink Sin’s blood. He is not the biggest fan of this idea since, after just one hot and heavy encounter in “Ecstasy Unveiled”, Con is still thinking about the taste of her blood. He knows that too much and he’ll be addicted to Sin and he doesn’t want to bleed her dry. When ‘bad guys’ come for Sin, Con comes to her aid and helps her escape because without her, he may die. Yup, that’s the only reason why he is suddenly inclined to helping her out. *cough cough* Sin is a fantastic character. As with her siblings in the previous books, she has not had an easy life. Enslaved by an assassin master only to become an assassin master herself, she has tried to block all emotion. She’s been blocking the pain of what she does for so long that she truly believes she has succeeded in eradicating her heart. She has been owned by unfavourable characters for too long, and now that she has some margin of freedom, she’s terrified of losing it. She NEVER wants to be owned again. She doesn’t realize that there is a difference between having someone care for you and having someone control you. She’s also been left behind and abandoned many times by those she believed cared for her. This has caused her to feel in the way and unwanted. She refuses to let anyone in because “they always leave.” But we know better. We know that she is a genuine person with a heart of gold – even if it’s a little trapped and people have to jump a little hurdle to access it. And we know that there is one man who is more than willing to jump over that little hurdle. Actually, he’s willing to break demon law, escape a hell’s fire and fight Wargs for it. Yes, I am talking about Con. *growl* Con. He is Yumminess at its most delicious. He is a fantastic hero, and he’s perfect for Sin. He doesn’t realize that he is very much like her – well except for the fact that he’s not an assassin, he is a paramedic at Underworld General. He feels as though Sin has missed out on too much love and life, so he has practically made it his mission to have her feel. He knows that only then will she be able to understand that her brothers really do care about her and that they really do want her around. Only then will she truly be free – at least that’s what Con thinks but Sin thinks he’s full of it. These are two very passionate people and the fire between them is non-stop! Goodness, they could just be brushing their teeth together and it would be sexy! Their hook-ups are often raw and animalistic, but there is also an underlying tenderness to them. Con truly wants to help Sin learn that there is a whole world out there just for her, and Sin truly cares for Con. She’s just scared. He is too. Larissa started this series with an elegant and impactful style. Her original installment was strong and really drew you in. The world she created was superb. And the details…magnificent. She has never veered too far off course in her subsequent Demonica books and I for one am grateful for that. The series has stayed strong from book one to book five. This is one of the two series that showed me what paranormal romance novels were all about. Passionate characters with heart, compassion and wicked sinful mouths. ;) If you have not yet discovered the ‘Demonica’ series and you are interested in the paranormal romance genre, give it a try. You’re in for a real treat. I am going to miss this series, but I take solace in knowing that the characters from these books will appear in Larissa’s newest series ‘The Lords of Deliverance’ – a series based on the four horsemen of the apocalypse. “Eternal Rider”, the first book, is due out in March 2011. As for “Sin Undone”, I just loved it! For me, it was the strongest of the five books (and I gave every book 5 stars, so that’s really saying something.) “Sin Undone” is the perfect ending to an incredible series.
