Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing follow-up to first book I read the author's first book and really enjoyed it. I was already maintaining a mostly vegetarian (and frequently vegan) diet when I started reading this series. Given my long-time interest in vegan and vegetarian cooking I have accumulated a number of cookbooks tackling the subject and was curious to see what new recipes the authors had to offer. I was disappointed to see how many recipes featured very, very processed foods including tofu and soy products such as fake meats and cheeses. A few of their salads looked interesting, but that was it. If you're interested in a vegetarian or vegan diet, go for it - but I would recommend choosing a different cookbook that features more fresh vegetables and whole grains. There are lots out there to choose from. P.S. This forum would not allow me to post the titles of these books due to their 'profane' nature, so I've edited accordingly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On her way to being a Skinny.... This book truly is about promoting a vegan lifestyle, which some may find disappointing; but I tried it myself and after three months of eating like a pig (just no dairy/no meat) I was down 25lbs. Say what you want - but this is an intelligent look at what the food industry has spoon fed people. If you want to try something different this is a great place to start! :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst book I ever tempted to read I also bought this book because of the title, thought it would be funny... after the first couple of chapters I tossed it away.. the worst book I ever tempted to read...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Entertaining at best The title on this book is great - that is what sold me...stuck in the Toronto airport with a 6 hour delay. The book is entertaining, funny, but really attempting to convert you to becoming VEGAN (which is ok if that is what you want).
